But erm... Maria honey, Mathieu lost to Malisse. That was weird. he was leading 5-2, then i left for dinner, and when i came back he had lost the first set 5-7, and was 2-4 in the second, which he lost too... hmmmz, juniors like Monfils and Tsonga won their match, but Mathieu didn't.... not a good day for him Arrrrrrrrrrgggggghhhhhh Damita! I cannot even begin to describe my feelings now!! I watched both Malisse-PHM and Tsonga-Ancic and both PHM and Ancic lost after good starts!!! Is it me jinxing them or what!!!!!!!!!!! What have I done to deserve another headcase like PHM!!!!!!! I'm not gonna follow even the SB during the Marat's match on Wednesday if it'll go on like this!!!!!!!! Tsonga played well though starting from the end of the 2nd set, great young players you have in France! About Paulo - he was up 5-2 and lost the following 5 games!!!!!!! Actually he let Malisse into the match at 4-1 when he had BPs and didn't convert! Before that Malisse looked absolutely clueless! At 5-3 PHM was serving for the set for Christ's sake!!!!!! And in the 2nd set it was enough for Malisse to take one of his serves. Typical PHM choke!! Like the semi against Haenel in Metz 7-6, 6-7, 6-7 (!!!!) wasn't enough!!!! You can just imagine my feelings after that match too!! Enough of me venting here now, that's not the place for it, sorry! So sorry!

yeah!!! ;aww Maria poor girl *hug* Yeah hugs to Maria I followed the SB and Monfils was really fighting Hewit in that second set, I was sooooooooo hoping that he would win the second set and then the match, guess he was a little nervous and must have choked poor guy, I think he did like 11 aces.......to like 4 from Hewitt. NOT bad not bad awaah Damitat, sorry girl...........but I dont think we should be too nervous, but admittedly I WANT Marat to win this match so at least he can say he went to Houston on his merit and not because of a fallout. I KNOW he can win this.

MAAAAAARRRRRRAT YOU ARE THE BEST EVER smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_1_209.gif [/img] What a match!! I cant lie, I was so nervous after the first set, and then when he won the second 6/3 wow I would loooove to have seen that, he must have been on fire, and then the third........fantastic fan..f...ing..tastic. And now he can put Ljubicic out to dry. And he did it, he DID IT, he showed that he could go to Houston on his OWN merit, yep, he qualified for Houston on his own achievements This is wonderful, just fan...f...ingtastic for his confidence EVERYTHING Marat wants to take a rest now before Houston, that's fine with me, he deserves the rest, he has proven that he is the best......EVER BTW, Vlad posted a really great interview with Peter on safinator, it is soooooooo encouraging, I am lost for words..... makes me fuzzy and warm all over ;D I am sooooo haaapppy.......HAAAAPPPPPY!!

Baah, that was close t'nite!!!!!! I got home at 2-1 Ljuby 1st set, didnt know whether to be happy about it or not, LOL! Marat was moving badly, couldn't return and hence got irritated, argued w Grillotti about a line judge at the end of the 1st set and kept on arguing in the 2nd. Very stupid! But after a pathetic TB and 0-2 in the 2nd he got his a****** together, started moving, fighting, more aggressive. So Ivan lost it, got nervous, he's a headcase too, and he was tired at the end, he's been playing a lot. Marat again got into the match, calmed down, returned better in the 2nd & 3rd. And served better, that's the backbone of his game, so also his movement, return got better. In the 1st set 1st serve % was like 35% at one point! 44% by the end of the 1st set. Good that he got his game together! Tomorrow should be easier! Peter and Walt still sitting together! ;D And this Danny guy or smth? Or is this the new Israeli fitness guy? Plus 2 women in the 2nd row, blond & brunette. No Dasha if you MUST know. Match time 2 h 25. Quite a marathon but that was actually expected! ;D
