I just wanna thanks my friend "Ae"For QF match, if you're online, you will see me or Jasmine04 kept sending score. That's not me. He's my friend "Ae" who got my sms, and he's so generous to help me pass the result to you. So Thanks "Ae" for his lovely job. Hi Jasmine, Yes thank you, and big thanks to your friend Ae. I had given up thinking we would not be able to get the scores and when I checked back Marat had won, he won so quickly, and realised Ae had been keeping us informed. Really great thanks. BTW welcome to the board. One More BTW...... BIG welcome to all newbies, respect and big thanks to everyone who has been keeping us so wonderfully updated, during September and now into October with news items, pics etc.

Hi everyone!! After trying at least a thousand times, I finally got to be here!! I'm from Argentina and I'm 21, and I just wanted to tell you that I'm glad I could join you, cause sometimes checking this website is the only way I can find out what's going on with Marat. They almost never show the matches, but I can "live" them through your posts!! Thanks so much to all of you and GO HIPPO!!! (there would be nothing wrong with getting another title so soon, right? )

One more promissing performance by Marat. Way to go. 6-2 6-1 People say he ended with 4 aces. No trouble with the MPs today. Scary indeed Vass!! Your prediction of him turning into Fedexlike robot might become true!! ;D THAT scoreline!!! From MARAT!!!?? What went into him in China? Never would have expected smth like that vs Saretta! Now bring on the Duck! Caro>> the Duck vs the Happy Hippo is brilliant! And we know who's stronger right? And thanks for pics Chris!

Well, first of all, great to see Marat is semis, playing so well. I think Roddick match will not be easy, but Marat should believe in himself that he is a better player than Roddick and should be able to win this match. Why do you guys saying that Fed is robot-like? What is it that so robotic about him? The only person that matches that description is Roddick in my sense (game-wise), since all he does is serve and hit his forehand as hard as he can. Federer may not show emotions a lot but it doesn't mean he doesn't feel anything... He used to be just like Marat when he was young and it affected his game in a bad way. Now he found that balance of showing emotions sometimes and sometimes not.. game-wise, I think Marat and Fed and clearly two of the most talented palyers on the tour and both of them make tennis look like an easy game..
