He's never done well at cincy, so he doesn't have any points that he needs to defend. The Olympics are every 4 years, and I'm not sure if you get points off for that. But Federer is so ahead, if you won the next GS he'd still be No. 1 |

I was talking in general. What i meant is just that i always keep an eye on the rankings, and i'm pretty happy when some very good players lose early in tournaments, especially when they did well the year before, because then they lose a little bit of their lead over our man... So yeah i was happy when Federer lost, in this case it has nothing to do with the points, but i think i've already given all my other reasons on why i'm happy when he losts early... |

Sorry that I'm so late, but I just had to say this.
Marat is a ******* *****! I don't know how lazy can a person be and not prepare for tennis tournaments properly? He sucked in Sopot and he sucked at the Olympics (in both matches, even in that bagel one), so whats his plan for the next tournament, the US OPEN?
I don't have time top read all the posts before this one guys, but I don't think that it's wise to hope that this man is going to do well in the next tournament. Before Marat was unpredictable, but now he's VERY PREDICTYABLE. Predictable as in " I bet 100 bucks that he'll lose early" and that kind of stuff.
I don't know if Marat will hook up more people to be his fans if he'll play like this.
