hi everyone! well i guess marat lost!  i don't know what happened.. maybe it's the crappy weather.. yesterday only 1 of 19 matches were played because of the rain! i wasn't there, but i heard all about it. my friend (who had the rocking camera) is still at the tourney, so i hope she has some stories about what the players did on the rain delays.. but otherwise, i also wish that i didn't have to work so that i would be able to stay at the tournament a bit longer! thanks for being so welcoming, i will try to come back and chat it up. marat fans are always the best, i'm sure you all know that!!!!!!! i just hope marat keeps on training hard for the tournies ahead, i know he will! *Beth |

hey there again! i just wanted to clarify... (i just read olya's match report) the person who marat was talking to about gaining weight was paradorn srichaphan, i was at the practice, and in my match report i said that marat was joking around wiht paradorn and the other players there... and considering that paradorn has a crazy six pack, i'm thinking that they were joking around. paradorn even replied "really? you think so?" in a sarcastic sort of tone! LOL i don't want to misinterpret, but when olya said that marat was being disrespectful, i think it's just his crazy nature. to what i saw, most of the comments made by him were made in a joking fashion, so i don't know that he purposefully meant them to hurt other people. oh, and also, ruth, would you be able to change the name of the player he was practicing with to JOACHIM johansson instead of hanson johansson on the match report you posted for me? thanks! that's his real name (i guess i heard walt wrong) and his nickname is pim pim... he just won his first ATP tourney this year (in memphis i think) aww! kisses, Beth |
