i've vaguely heard of the erlich/ram pairing, and coming from, ME! someone who only knows the bjorkbridge and bryan pairing and maybe mirnyi, that's saying a lot...so i'd say they'll be tough in doubles...

Also in da doubles is that Ram guy the really good-looking guy who was in Marat's box at da match at the Aus Open? Yes it was him! They're pretty good friend as it seems.

Most people haven't heard of many doubles players so that doesn't mean they aren't good. Can you name more than 5 of the top 10 in doubles? Erlich is a very good doubles player and Ram is pretty good too, I'm suprised that they aren't ranked to be honest. I think they have already won a doubles title together this year..... *goes to atp website to look* ahhh nope they haven't won any this year together but they have been finalists in Chennai & Rotterdam and they just made the semifinals in LA. This is a good doubles team (they are ranked number 22 and 23 in doubles), if Marat and Nalby make it though them I'd be shocked. I was just saying that since I haven't heard of them (Erlich n Ram) I hope that they aren't that good, so that Marat n Nalby can win...but I take ur word that they are good doubles playas. Oh well...at least if Marat gets knocked out the doubles, he can focus on winning the singles title ;D By the way, is Ram that Indian playa who plays with Martina Navratilova in the mixed doubles?...or am I thinking about sumone else? But if that is him, then I know that Marat has no chance, cause that guy's a top doubles playa.

BTW, Kiefer lost his 4th final of the year to Andy Roddick in Indianapolis last night 2-6, 3-6, 2nd week in a row (lost last week's final to Haas in LA), so he might be pretty tired. And yeah, I guess he's had his share of injuries. GO MARAT!!!!!!!!!! Getting all excited already, hehe!

I saw that match yesterday and Kiefer's tennis is good, but not fantastic, so all depends on Marat's shape now...

I'm just wondering what effect will the final have on Kiefer... Does it mean he plays well, or does it mean that he's going to be tired? Anyway, GO MARAT!

anyway, BETH! i'm fromm Singapore, check out the avatar, and it's i think 12 hours ahead of Toronto so... i'll be snoring away during the match tomorrow morning. ok, i don't snore. anyway, hope he plays well tomorrow.
i think it's pretty impressive that he and nalby managed to take a set off erlich and ram. or maybe im setting my expectations too low. hehe.
