I'm hoping he'll come across to Liverpool for some quiet extra practice cos I'll be there again ;D Don't think if he'll go into the main draw, but just use the courts...Anders (Liverpool director) has said Marat's always welcome as long as he doesn't mind people watching him practice Will try and come down to Wimbledon for a few days with Denise...depends on money (doesn't it always?) but we're both free and it would be great to meet up with people

Well...after all the shocks of Henman, Agassi, Dent and Phillippousis going out in th first round of Queens, Marat will have as good a chance as anyone on the grass if he can lift his confidence levels. All these guys will now be panicking and wondering which tourny to go to next.
Obviously Federer and Hewitt and Roddick are favourites for the title, but why not Marat? ;D

All these guys will now be panicking and wondering which tourny to go to next. Dee I think you may be right, and maybe just maybe and I am sure he is going to spend the need week with Peter working on his game, but as some one said I wish to he would go to Nottingham, where he is guaranteed 3 matches. Obviously Federer and Hewitt and Roddick are favourites for the title, but why not Marat? ;D I think because he did not play last year, he keeps saying he does not like grass and its the one tourney he really does not like, so maybe it understandable he won't be listed as one of the favourites. As for Roddick and Federer they both had early exists from RG and have been practising since on grass so they are more prepared I think, Hewitt loves grass and grass is where he is supposed to do well. Agassi is supposed to have been really practising since his early exit from RG, practising with Roddick this past week, so don't know what happened to him, I don't think he knows himself!! Bit of a shocker I say

According to bbcSports, Marat is in doubt for Wimbledon & has pulled out of Ordina because of his blister problem.

I'm very glad to hear Marat is on his way to London ;D....thanks for that Ruth. Do you intend to go along to the Med Cup exhibition if he plays ? I know they only sell 1,000 tickets for each day so as to keep the tourny intimate. I Must say, it would be a lovely place to see MArat play. Anyway, Feder and Roddick have both had a good boost of confidence going into Wimbly. I just hope Marat can get past the first two rounds so his confidence can build up. He has got to the quater finals before, andI'm sure he only lost to Goran because it was pre-destined or something. anyway, take care all
