Mariano in the match against Carlos played really good, he was awesome!! I feel bad about Carlos coz he was the favourite of almost all the Mexicans, actually he did two tv commercials (I luv them) but I guess it's good to have so many latin players in the quarters. btw, Mariano won his match against Mantilla, he played amazing... again..

Really nothing new under the sun. Nadal won in Mexico last week. ;D Well done! And I´m waiting for Friday and the Davis Cup tie in Buenos Aires against Check Republic. The team is: Coria, Nalbandian, Cañas and Calleri (Gaudio is injured, although he went the training days to the Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club, that shows the team spirit!! ) Good luck to Argentina, Spain and Russia this weekend in Davis Cup!!

This is the draw (may change): R1 - D.NALBANDIAN (ARG) vs J.NOVAK (CZE) R2 - G.CORIA (ARG) vs T.BERDYCH (CZE) R3 - G.CANAS / D.NALBANDIAN (ARG) vs J.HERNYCH / T.ZIB (CZE) R4 - G.CORIA (ARG) vs J.NOVAK (CZE) R5 - D.NALBANDIAN (ARG) vs T.BERDYCH (CZE) Round one and two are played today. I´m a little bit sad because I don´t feel a well (I´m quite ill), but I´ll try to be there during all the matches ;D If not, I´ll watch them on TV. The tickets were sold out weeks ago!! PLEASE, PLEASE, Argentina must win! (Australia is 2-0 against Austria, if Argentina wins the next tie may be against Australia in Australia, THAT´S TOUGH!! ) www.daviscup.com/news/newsarticle.asp?id=13150That link is of the ITF article. I cant believe a team that strong had to leave RG winner out Gaudio is not playing because he´s injured. He said "This is the worst thing that could happened to me". I´m sad bacause he´s a great DC player. Playing for his country really motivates him. :-[The argentine press frequently refers to him as "the Davis Cup hero". ;)He was in the original team, but after he was injured, he was replaced by Calleri. Great day (for Argentina) today in the BALT!! Coria-Berdych 6-3, 3-6, 6-0, 6-3 Nalbandian-Novak 4-6, 6-2, 6-3, 6-4

Supposingly Argentina beat czech wchich they should do where will they play Austratia in Argentina or Australia as it will be a tricky tie if you have to go to OZ to play on grass.

Supposingly Argentina beat czech wchich they should do where will they play Austratia in Argentina or Australia as it will be a tricky tie if you have to go to OZ to play on grass. If Argentina wins, they´ll play in Australia. As I said, that seems really tough Coria may not be oncourt a lot. I think Nalbandian and Cañas should be the main players. They had better results in had courts during their careers. (Although Gaudio is well by that time, he may play the doubles, maybe, but not the singles, too). We´ll see, Argentina needs to win this tie first.... I think Australia may prepare grass courts..... I don´t know if someone can answer this: It is said that is difficult to have grass court by that time of the year (winter in Australia). Is it true? I know this may sound very possitive, but Guillermo Coria reached the final last year in the Ordina Open (grass). He won his first grass match there ;D ;Dand won the match against Ancic in semifinal. I still have hopes of winning that tie if Argentina and Australia wins this one ;D I´m going now to watch the doubles match in the BALT (Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club). Wish me luck
