ATP Partner INDESIT has put a one-of-a-kind item up for grabs. Europe's largest household appliance producer is auctioning off a Roger Federer INDESIT Graffiti fridge on e-Bay, with the proceeds to be donated to the Roger Federer Foundation. This artwork/appliance/memorabilia all rolled into one features an illustration of the World No. 1 alongside South African children, customized by famous Chinese artist Wu Yimin. Federer (pictured alongside the fridge with INDESIT's Marco Rota and ATP Executive Chairman and President Etienne de Villiers) autographed the fridge at the 2005 Tennis Masters Cup in Shanghai, China, following the trophy ceremony in which he was recognized for finishing atop the INDESIT ATP 2005 Race. The Roger Federer Foundation funds projects benefiting disadvantaged children, specially focusing on those in South Africa, and promotes sports for youth. Bids can be placed on e-Bay until the close of the auction on Tuesday, January 31st. Highest bid so far is USD 1000 cgi.ebay.com/Indesit-Graffiti-customized-with-Federer-picture_W0QQitemZ7214219236QQcategoryZ13596QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

As Roger is a Leo born in the year of the Rooster I have found a prediction for all Roosters for 2006 . Would be interesting to see how this pans out.
Did you know that Davydenko is a Gemini - Rooster, and LLeyton Hewitt is a Pisces - Rooster.
Rooster January 2006 heralds the end of the year in which your Chinese sign rules the ROOST. Phew! I don't know how you felt about being responsible for all those storms and tragedies and earthquakes and conflicts, but if I were you, Ms or Mr. Rooster, I would be glad to say goodbye to power this time around.
For you, the important part of the Rooster year in any case was to demonstrate that you must overcome huge obstacles before happiness and contentment can once again reign in your life. Don't worry. You didn't create the hurdles. They just appeared as though out of nowhere and bedeviled your existence for almost 12 solid months. Either you had a work colleague you despised and couldn't get rid of or you were married to a person you had grown to wish you had never met or you were involved in a business deal which never got resolved or maybe you even had an accident or a serious health problem the results of which looked insurmountable. All of some of the above certainly happened to you in 2005.
But the best thing about being a Rooster is your built-in resiliency. You can come back from any reversal and start all over again to set things to rights. You are like those life-size blowup snowman dolls with he sand in the bottom. Punch them down and they pop right back up. You are a past master of the rebound.
But enough about your character. What is likely to occur in January 2006 for Rooster people? First off, there is a strong chance that passion (of the romantic variety) will either suddenly appear on the scene or that a long-lived but somewhat tarnished passion will be rekindled. In other words, get ready to cuddle and swoon. By the middle of the month, the person with whom you have been billing and cooing will have a proposition for you. I am not necessarily suggesting marriage. But the proposal might include a baby, a live-in situation or even a long trip together (just the two of you) around the world. Dare I give advice to a know-it-all Rooster? Oh well why not? I have taken worse risks in my life.
Take the person up on their offer. In the upcoming Year of the Dog, you will be needing a new project to which you can devote yourself 100% and a half. Dogs are about re-building trust and even rebuilding buildings and towns and cities. It won't much matter whether you marry, have a child, buy a boat, move in with your lover or trek around the world wearing snowshoes. As long as you are up to your tail feathers in making something new happen for yourself and your loved ones, you will triumph in the Dog year.
During the month of January then, hitch your wagon to your favorite loved one and join them on your mutual journey to a better life.
Work? Same old. Same old. Huge responsibility and not enough reward are the name of the game for Roosters this month. I wish I could tell you to add elbow grease, put in more hours or keep your nose to the grindstone 24/7 and that the money would improve. It won't. Outside factors beyond your control seem to be plotting against your pocketbook. You are simply not in a moneymaking phase. You are in a preparation phase. You are figuratively cutting up the vegetables now to make the most delicious stew you ever tasted. But your delicious ragout will not be ready to eat until much later than you originally planned when you pulled those carrots out of the bin at the market. So the advice for Roosters in January and their money is: "Hurry up and wait."
While you are waiting give over a chunk of time to serious contemplation. You Roosters are inveterate scurries. Always racing from pillar to post and back in a jiffy and then longing for the next thrill or setback or conflict or challenge to come along so you can race aimlessly about some more.
In January you should try to slow down. Smooth any of your own ruffled feathers left over from the effects of 2005 and ask yourself a few key questions: "Who am I? Am I the person I want to be? What if I achieve the outcome of such and such project? What will the end result be? Is that what I really want or do I want something else and can't put my finger on it?" Remember, 2005 was THE year for you to figure out what you will do with the next dozen years of your life. By the end of 2006, you need to have found the path to your future and stay on it.
All your rushing mindlessly about the world will not keep you on track. Occasionally (such as in the middle of January when the Moon is full and you feel most anxious) you need to tether yourself to a big comfy armchair or even to a bed of nails if that's your preference - and ponder. Yes I said ponder. Ruminate. Delve deeply into your own subconscious (not always readily available to Roosters who are often too proud to divulge much more than their own middle name to their conscious mind) and reconnoiter. Study your dreams. Mediate and see what private thoughts rise to the surface. Regroup and plan without moving about. It won't be easy. But it will be the start of a practice or habit you need to do more of. I suggest full Moon times for these slowdowns as it is as these turbulent periods that your subconscious mind is at its most accessible.
I urge you to stop scattering your energies on a number of vapid or unrealistic goals. You are usually a concrete thinker. But last year's upheavals caused you (and the rest of us) no little confusion. Now is the time - in January 2006, - before the Dog Year comes bounding in and jumps all over you - to zero in on your most important goal and go for it. Work steadily toward THE goal. No more thrashing about looking for your objective in 35 different places at once. FOCUS.

Federer missing from Swiss squad
Roger Federer's name was missing as Switzerland announced their provisional squad to face Australia in the first round of the Davis Cup on 10 February. The world number one opted out of Switzerland's opener last year and looks set to repeat that decision.
However, captain Severin Luthi has until one hour before the draw on 9 February to finalise his team.
Australia, already without the injured Lleyton Hewitt, have decided against calling on Mark Philippoussis.
Skipper John Fitzgerald has instead picked Wayne Arthurs to lead an otherwise inexperienced squad of Peter Luczak, Chris Guccione and Paul Hanley.
Switzerland's team is Stanislas Wawrinka, George Bastl, Michael Lammer and Yves Allegro.
In other team news, United States captain Patrick McEnroe has picked James Blake as his second singles player ahead of Robby Ginepri.
US Open semi-finalist Ginepri said he was disappointed with the decision.
"I was upset I didn't get chosen," said Ginepri. "They should give me a chance to play."
Andy Roddick and the Bryan brothers make up the rest of McEnroe's team, with Andre Agassi unavailable for the home tie against Romania.
Davis Cup champions Croatia also named their team to play, picking Mario Ancic, Marin Cilic and Ivo Karlovic alongside player-captain Ivan Ljubicic.
Ljubicic leads the team after Goran Ivanisevic rejected an offer to become temporary captain.
But Croatia's tennis federation is still looking for a permanent appointment with Ljubicic and Ancic saying this week they hoped to persuade Ivanisevic to take over.
Austria already named Juergen Melzer, Stefan Koubek, Alexander Peya and doubles specialist Julian Knowle, with Oliver Marach as a substitute.
Fabrice Santoro missed out on a place in the France squad despite his quarter-final appearance at the Australian Open.
French captain Guy Forget was poised to recall the 33-year-old but was angry that Santoro committed to play an exhibition match on the same day as a planned squad get-together.
"I tell myself that his desire to come back into the France team is not as strong as all that," said Forget.
Forget instead picked Richard Gasquet, Sebastien Grosjean, Arnaud Clement, Michael Llodra and Paul-Henri Mathieu to play in Germany.

ATP - ROGER RENOUNCES FIRST DAVIS CUP ROUND
Roger will not play for the Swiss Team at the first round of the Davis Cup which will be held in Geneva on February 10.-12, 2006. He also cancelled his participation at the ATP tournament in Rotterdam.
The first weeks of this year, with the highlight at the Australian Open, have cost Roger a lot of energy. "There are still many challenges ahead this season and I feel the need to plan everything carefully and listen to my body. I will use the time to prepare for the upcoming Masters-Series tournaments as well as the French Open", Roger explained.
Swiss Tennis and the Swiss Davis Cup Team regret Roger's absence but fully understand the decision of their team-leader

Federer Breaks Own INDESIT ATP Rankings Record
Roger Federer is celebrating his 106th consecutive week as World No. 1 with the highest-ever points total in INDESIT ATP Rankings history.
The Swiss has compiled 7,275 points to beat his own record of 6,980 points, set on June 6 last year.
Successful title defenses at the Qatar ExxonMobil Open in Doha en route to a second Australian Open title, last month, has seen Federer increase his lead over World No. 2 Rafael Nadal to 2,660 points - the equivalent of about two-and-a-half Grand Slam victories, worth 1,000 points each.
Federer also holds a massive 4,490 points advantage over World No. 3 Andy Roddick, the player he replaced as World No. 1 in the INDESIT ATP Rankings.
However, Federer’s recent withdrawal from the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament means he will lose points from winning the 2005 Rotterdam title and ‘top out’ at his current total of 7,275 points.
Upon Federer’s return, he will need to defend three consecutive titles at Dubai [starting February 27] and Masters Series events at Indian Wells and Miami in March.
Since reaching the summit of men’s professional tennis on February 2, 2004, the 24-year-old has compiled a remarkable 108-6 win-loss record at ATP tournaments – winning 18 of a possible 24 titles.
Federer’s dominance over his fellow players in the INDESIT ATP Rankings means he also has an excellent chance of setting a new mark for most consecutive weeks at World No. 1.
He recently surpassed Pete Sampras’ tally of 103 consecutive weeks at No. 1 and now has his sights set on Ivan Lendl’s record.
If Federer stays at the top of the INDESIT ATP Rankings until after the next year’s Australian Open, on January 29, 2007, he will equal Lendl’s tally of 157 consecutive weeks (September 9, 1985 to September 12, 1988).
Should Federer hold the No. 1 ranking through to the end of March 2007, he will set a new record of 161 consecutive weeks and beat Jimmy Connors' haul of 160 consecutive weeks from July 29, 1974 to August 23, 1977.
