Seems a solid performance to start MC - good foundation to build on. Ferrer although is a different proposition to Malisse - won valencia last week - hoping he may feel a bit jaded but i think Marat's game plan must be to remain patient - i mean Ferrer can run for days and will Make marat play that extra shot. His serve and reutrns must be on top form to have a chance COME ON MARAT I'm in stupid school again for this match  |

Hey guys, I got to see the whole match! ;D Don't even ask about the palaver to get this. Just finished watching it. I haven't stopped grinning yet. We've cracked it. A lucky Borg beard. Don't shave, Big Yin, until Sunday night. For anyone who didn't see it ... the match not the beard ... Definitely a good solid performance he should be happy with. The ground strokes were pretty heavy - and more importantly, accurate. Some lovely cross-court strokes. Came out of the blocks well at the start and played aggressively. Drop shots, net approaches ... you name it, the boy did it - and pulled it off. I knew my nagging about the net would pay off. ;D Irritated me when he threw his racquet down at 5-1 30-15 in the second set. And the point of that was, Big Yin? All in all, very good display. He was clearly 'thinking like a champion'. Well done, it showed. I expect the same tomorrow with Ferrer. Ferrer will make him play that extra shot - just do it and keep the ball in, you're every bit as fit as him and can hit the ball harder. I think I'll linger at home and start the recording ... and leave the telly on all day. ;D Something to look forward to tomorrow night. ;D PS Big Yin, the whiskers ain't too bad. By Sunday you'll be combing them. I don't mind ... I'll even do it for you. Hey, maybe skinny girl can do it for you ... LMAO. ;D Somebody give her a fry up. Well done. Proud FG |
