Congratulations Marat! I was watching it, set my alarm for 8.30 am even though I had a rough night the night before at my mate's 18th birthday party! Marat is definitely a major cure for hangovers! I loved every bit of it, even the frustrating 1st set! I felt every bit of pain for him each time he shots flew long or hit the net!
I have to be honest though & say that I was a pessimist. I really though it was going to be the same old Aussie Open final for him, either he was going to choke, or Lleyton would bring his A+ game with him like Roger did in '04.
You proved me wrong Marat, I'm sorry!
PS Can I say for the record that Dasha is well prettier than Lleyton's girlfriend? That blonde/brown streaks is a bit passé now! ;D Miaow!!!!!!! (I'm such a cow!)

yeaaa...leyla ive watched it too but i woke up very late that day...around 9.30 am n safin just lost in the 1st set....luckly he made a come back n won the match ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

I love the new Safin more than the old one. I love the curly new hair! I love it when it gets sweaty and it sticks to his forehead, and the curls that form around his forehead. (Enough of this now Sue). I do not mind unshaven Safin at all. I usually hate facial hair on men but on Marat it looks rugged and makes him look a little more mature and not so much like a boy. Marat could never look bad no matter how he changes his looks! ;D He is the best looking man Ive ever seen! |
