You´re right Yarina, we should be happy that we could/can see Marat playing tennis!!!!! But I will support him as long as he is playing!!!!! Thax frensje for the video! That is typical Marat: crash down the racket ,and then ,the last ball playing ,he isn´t interested anymore to fight!!!!! Marat is so real, I like that!!!!!! I don´t like that he lost, but he is like he is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Guys! Don't indulge him! Racquet throwing and giving up the fight? He needs a kick up the backside, not support for losing his head and 'beating himself up'. Hewitt probably didn't beat him. The Big Yin did that for him by the sound of what you're saying. And that kind of behaviour gets his Fairy Godmother really, really pissed off. I'd have his arse red raw if I was having to sit courtside and watch that kind of display. Big Yin, I have taken annual leave now for the next couple of tournaments. You owe me ... get on with it.

And another thing, Borg and McEnroe have announced they will no longer play the seniors. I'm REALLY pissed off now. I will never see Borg play on grass. The contract is out on the alsation for last year ... One bonus, the Liverpool tournament is looking good. Pernfors (yippee), Nastase (whoop) Leconte (yeeha) , Ivanesivic, Hingis, Mallisse ... hope the weather holds up.

Ohhhhh maryb, you misunderstood me absolutely!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sorry!!!!!!! What I want to say is: that Marat knows if he has the chance to win or not ( be realistic), and if he crash the racket I don´t mean that it is funny, I mean that he REALLY WANTS TO WIN and that he fights!!!!!!! And he is really angry about his own situation during the match, so he has the will to win!!!!!!!! But at the end of the match he knows that he doesn´t has the chance to win, and so was his reaction!!!!! Sorry for my bad explaining!!!!!! SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think the same that we should support him in every situation ( especially in bad times)!!!!!!! I will be the last women who will give up to support him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL Happy, calm down. ;D All I was saying was that when the Big Yin 'loses it' (mentally), he shouldn't be so accepting of it. And neither should anybody else. If he loses and he's been battling and luck wasn't on his side, I'll give him 110% support. As would all of you guys too. If he's been indulging himself and accepting a loss beforehand without a fight, I'm pissed off. I have high expectations of the boy. ;D I expect (and demand) that he does too. (I think the fact that he 'lost it' in the dressing room after the AO was a good sign - at least it wasn't too evident on court). I wish that he wouldn't talk about going into a match expecting to lose. Why bother then? Give the other guy a W/O and save everybody's time and energy.
Alongside Maestro, he is the most naturally gifted tennis player of his generation. He shouldn't be demeaning his talent by accepting that 'he isn't going to win' until that last ball is struck. I want to see the fire in his belly in every match. It's still there - fleetingly, but he needs to believe in it from the first to the last ball that gets struck. It showed in the AO ... unfortunately in the third and fourth set and then the doubts set in in the fifth. Hence the locker room tantrum. He's worked very hard at his fitness when he could have just given up. I just wish that he would see that that in itself is evidence that the fire is still there.
If not, he might as well give up and go clubbing.
PS Don't take that as a serious alternative Big Yin. ;D
PPS Maestro has lost 2 matches in a row. I bet he doesn't see it as the end of the world. It'll annoy him, but it'll spur him on.
