I really wanna know what happened too, cuz from the stat's and the score's view, it looks like he's trashed ! 1st service: 48% 1st serve point won: 40% (Lleyton had 83 there ) 1st return points won: 17% (Lleyton 60%) and this all in less then 57 minutes So, Dina... Report please (and a few piccies can't harm too, just to cheer us up a bit with his view )

Hewitt crushes Safin in Vegas opener Defending champion and second seed Lleyton Hewitt of Australia crushed Russian Marat Safin 6-2 6-1 in the Las Vegas Open first round.
Hewitt converted four of six break points and won 83 per cent of his first serve points to clinch victory in 58 minutes.
"I knew I was going to have to be on my game from the start," Hewitt said. "I was able to get up that early break in both sets, which is important."
Safin double-faulted three times and made just 40 per cent of his first serve points.
Hewitt became only the second man, after American Andre Agassi, to win the Las Vegas title three times with a straight-sets victory over Austrian Juergen Melzer in last year's final.

One thing i didnt expect from this match was a thrashing and Lleyton to be so dominant!
Wonder what was Marat's problem today - i know he complained about lack of rhythm today or something but.......... just not good enough.
Still got double to play - how good that will be -well have to see!
Very very sad at this moment.

I have no idea what might happened there, since I didn't even followed the live scores!!! But it looks to me that Marat's having some problems with his confidence, since when you're so low on the ranking as he is now, you probably start wondering about things, if you can do it once again and so on!!! But sometimes a single thing can turn that around and I'm fateful he'll find his pace and come back to the Top!!! Maybe I'm a hopeless dreamer, but isn't that what makes the world go around?

Ouch.. I was a week away and hoped for some good results, but unfortunately.. I was so confident on the beginning of the year, with some decent matches. But now, I believe he's just... back to where he was last year, I guess. Of course, these are only 2 matches, but then again it's tough out there and his ranking isn't as good as it is supposed to be. He also just had that tiny injury..
Still think he can make it though. I just really hope he will make a come-back this year!! Go Marat(L)!
