That'll be one hell of an experience you will never forget !

Dina - have you been sampling the anaesthetic in theatre? ;D What do you mean you might go? Get out there and support the boy - and give us a match report. Good to see he's playing more doubles. It's better practice than being out on the practice court for half an hour. 4 nutcases on a tennis court? ... LMAO. He's not nuts, just passionate ... LOL. There's a difference. ;D

Hewitt Searches for Winning Recipe in Las Vegas © ATP Defending Tennis Channel Open champion Lleyton Hewitt took time out on the weekend to visit the Benihana Japanese restaurant at the Las Vegas Hilton, where one of the chefs demonstrated his cooking skills on a hibachi table.
Hewitt plays Marat Safin on Monday night in their 13th meeting (tied at 6-6), a rematch of one of last year's Las Vegas semifinals.
“It’s always tough to play Marat. We are used to play semifinals and finals in big tournaments so it’s never easy. We have played a lot of big matches in the past, in Grand Slams and also at the Tennis Masters Cup.
“We played here in the semifinals last year and I was able to get the better of him. It’s going to be a tough first round and if I am able to get through that I’m obviously playing extremely well.
“It’s always enjoyable to play Marat, he is one of the best ball strikers out there and obviously comes with a lot of firepower. If I can go out there and execute what I want to do hopefully things will go my way and it’s always nice to come back to somewhere where you have played well in the past.”

Just finished watching the match on TV -- a little (rambling-rollercoaster) commentary ... Yay for Vegas being the Tennis Channel Open, so it's on TV (here)! (and yay that Marat-Lleyton is a night match and not in the afternoon) ;D FINALLY - at 10:35 pm EST - Robby gets through a back-and-forth 3-set tussle with Xavier ... Bring on Marat!!! A little pre-match interview: *bad luck in Memphis with the draw *hope for more luck here *pretty cold ... gonna be tough *hope to be much luckier than last year Another clip of an interview from a studio earlier, about playing against Lleyton, ending with ... "try not to lose your brain" (irony, no?) :-P Lleyton had the privilege of hitting with Andre earlier in the week, blah blah ... first point (Lleyton serving): and .... the picture froze (WT?!) -- someone pressed the wrong button, lol -- just the luck ... back -- at Deuce ... oui, the errors early on ... some good points, some shotty errors ... Racket Throw at 4-2, 40-30 Hewitt Lleyton wins the 1st set 6-2 (what a difference less than an hour makes ... this is depressing ...) C'mon Marat! On serve in the second set ... this is good, just stay on serve, for the love of pete ... some good winners when coming into the net (wink, wink, nudge, nudge) ;D Bah, broken again ... Dang, late scramble to the net proved unsuccesful ... lucky on a challenge to save a break chance ... but it only momentarily delayed the unfortunate, continuing heartbreak (5-1 Hewitt) Marat throws away the last point ... 62 61 Hewitt -- and blink, he's gone ... talk about uber depressing ... *sigh* (for the love of God, I pray that he can win his first match in Miami so that I have a chance to see him ) 'scuse the rambling ... it's late, and I was bored :-P
