The draw is out. Marat plays Thomas Johansson in the first round. Hi Alex, I "stole" the draw from you and put it in the first post as well. Thanks for the work I didn't dare look at the Memphis website this morning but the draw is pretty decent. With a bit of concentration the Semis should be not too big of a problem. Good luck Marat Anybody knows about Live Stream from Memphis? I've just found Zabgreb and Acapulco so far

Hmmmmmm ToJo - could've been an easier draw. Marat leads the H2H 3-2 but they have not played since DC 2002 and we obviously know what happened in AO final between the 2.
It's a solid match for Marat but hopefully if he is still confident and playing well we may have a decent week.
UDACHI MARAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As long as the Big Yin keeps his focused head on and goes out and plays aggressively from the first point, I ain't worried about him playing Johansson. It'll probably be a tight match, but the boy can do it. He just needs to remember that his fighting spirit is still there. And I won't see the tournament. Damn. I need to get broadband and stop faffing around. I will expect detailed match reports on the boy's progress from you guys.

Hmmmmmm ToJo - could've been an easier draw. Marat leads the H2H 3-2 but they have not played since DC 2002 and we obviously know what happened in AO final between the 2. What happened at AO 2002 was that Marat was so convinced he would win that his cocky attitude cost him the title... And the off-court activities probably didn't help, either... ToJo's best times are definitely over, plus he's been injured a lot lately - unless Marat gets mind cramps I don't see too many problems coming up for him. And writing this: I guess a lot of people would say the same things I wrote about Thomas about Marat , so who knows...

Don't be scared happy. If Marat is not on the OOP for today, that means he probably plays tomorrow. Nothing else. I'm going to have the rare pleasure today to cheer for a player from my country Just found out that 15 year old Michele Brito plays in Memphis too

Hi Davis! What do you mean? Did Marat play tomorrow than? Or doesn´t he plays in Memphis? Don't be scared happy. If Marat is not on the OOP for today, that means he probably plays tomorrow. Nothing else. Exactly. Sorry, didn't mean to scare anybody. Happy, tournaments with a 32 player field usually schedule their First Round matches between Monday and Wednesday, with the more attractive pairings coming up later in the week. So Marat could play either tomorrow or Wednesday.
