your so lucky, i live in melboune, and its my damn final year for highschool, so my mother wouldn't let me go to the aus open, and she yelled at me for watching the safin games on tv, i mean so weird, whenever he plays she tells me off!!

DAY 5

After looking at the schedule lastnight, was happy to know i would be watching the Safin/Andy match. ;D
Didn't wanna go to any tennis through the day, so stayed home and worked on loading some pics for my reports.
At 5pm headed down to the tennis park in hopes of maybe catching Safin practising, but no luck. So just walked around and saw koyla practising, so sat down took a few pics and this guy came over asking who koyla was, and went on to say that, that player Rafa is practising over on court 4, and that there is a big crowd, so off i go nearly running, building up a sweat in the very hot weather, when my eyes fall on the big crowd. So i push my way through the people "excuse me, wife coming through", and stood on a chair so i could see over peoples heads and saw that it was not so full on the otherside. So off i go walking very fast to the otherside and positoned myself right on the fence line, got my camera out and started clicking away *drools*, and one stage he was laughing and speaking in spanish *faints* and i just smiled with this big grin on my face, thinking OMG youré hot.
He goes to sit down for alittle rest and he looks my way, so camera clicking away and then when he got up and started walking my way to get to the end of the court, omg he stared at me and it was so intense i had to look away LMAO, *faints*, he so yum yum.
Di txt me to say she will be coming soon and i txt back to say im just watching my hubby practise on court 4 lol, and she txt back to say she would be there in 15 mins.
So i carry on watching rafa, camera clicking away and then his thingy( the shock thing, dont know wat it called lol) falls off his tennis racket and rolls near my feet OMG, so he starts heading towards my way and i get a real close up pic, he so trying to kill me.
After watching him for nearly an hour he starts signing auto's and he coming down the line my way and i had nothing for him to sign and he stops at me, so i quickly pull out my ticket and he signs it, thought mum might like it or could use it as a book mark lol.
I get a txt from Di, telling me to wave, so im waving away not knowin where she is lol, and then dima starts walkin on court to start pracising. so start to take pics and then i see Di on the otherside, so i make my way round to her and we hug, was so nice to finally meet her, and we both start clicking away on our camera's in dima's direction, then i say to Di that i have to go and watch Marat now, so she try's go see if she can get a ticket, but she couldn't, so i have to enjoy Marat by myself.
I go find my seat and im sittin next to this nice lady and her mum and the lady goes "here she is mum, the girl i was talking about" lmao, so im like "hi" and they are asking me about my flag and that they hope Marat wins and she asked me my name and i said "Anushka"and they are like "Anushka, thats one of my favourite names"
So out comes Marat and Andy, Marat looking mighty fine and i start clicking away and the ladies mum goes to me "there is, someone else on the court, you know"and i start laughing and say "yeah there is, so i better take a few pics for my friend".
No need to tell u how the game went, u all know, but when he hurt is little finger i wanted to give him a hug, everyone around me was laughing at him cause he was like alittle kid in pain, and then the whole rain delay and him swearing at the empire lol, and getting one back at the empire when he challagened the empires line call, that was classic stuff.
When he lost i was so sad, cause it was the last i was gonna see of him, but i am so thankful for being able to be at all his games, he is hard to watch, but i loved every minute of it. It was a dream to see him and it finally came true.The only thing keeping me happy now, is that Rafa is still around.
When i got home, i loaded up my pics and saw abit if his interview afterwards on tv and he looked sad.
No more Marat, so all up to you now, my tight a*** Rafa ;D

DAY 6

Well nothing really to report today, cause the weather was crap and all games on outside courts canceled, and me and di sad cause our russian hottie was no longer around
But me and Di got there just after 11am to watch dima cause the rain had stopped. so we went and looked for some great seats and set up to watch dima, but then the rain came, so up went the umbrella's, but we still had hope that the game would start.
Rain stopped, balls kids come out with the towels and dried the court, rain starts again so up with the umbrellas and thats what it was like for the next 2 hrs, but me and di were faithful to the cause and had real high hopes, but then the rain came and didn't stop.
So we walked around abit but nothing to do, couldn't get tickets to rod laver where my Rafa was playing so we went to see if we could get money back for our tickets seeing as we got to see no tennis at all, and all was good we got to get a ticket for another day so we got them for tomorrow.
We had tickets for night session but couldn't get back in the gates till 5pm and this stage it was bout 4pm, so i look to di and said what we gonna do.
We ended up walking round to the other entrance on the other side and tried to find a dry spot to wait, by this stage me and di are so tired and cant really be bothered going to night session, but we did to see gonzo and hewitt.
In the end we only stayed for about the 1st two sets and them went home, we were just to tired.
So we went our separate ways, and i got home and watched the rest of the game on tv and was so happy to see that gonzo beat hewitt.

Day 7 will be abit more exciting, followed with some dima pics ;D
