Dubai Tournament Report 2003

I'm the luckiest fan ever! Not only do I have a picture with Marat, five of his autographs, I also had been a ballboy in his match. On that match in Dubai when he played against Robredo (worst of his matches) I served a ball to him 15 times. But I had to work really hard for it. At first I wasn't on the schedule for his match. But then I paid $20 another ballboy and switched! Yet, I felt like crying in the end of the match. I was shaking! Although I was not the ballkid in the end, my batch of kids was replaced.
But at this my luck as a fan does not end! I have been standing next to him in the dressing room. In Dubai, members of the club which hosts the tournament get an unrestricted access to it, as its their's as well. Anyway I'm one of them. At that time he was speaking to Dinara on his mobile phone.
It all happened less than a month ago.
Sadly he didn't notice me in the dressing room. He was either looking on the TV, which was there, or somewhere else. I don't remember really, I was too excited, wasn't there for too long, plus tried not to stare.
Another time I saw him, he was comforting Andrei Stoliarov after his loss.
My scanner's not working properly right now, so no pictures. Sorry.
By the way I'm 14, and this was the first time I won my way to become a ballkid. At the tennis school that provides the kids, there's some tough competition.
PS-I hate the kid who sold his ballkid rights for that match to me. I mean was delighted, but God! How can anyone give such a chance away for 20 bucks?!
