Hey, he ain't stuck on the baseline either ... good sign. I'm off work for the first few days of the AO. ;D Hope the Big Yin is on on the first day, preferably first on RL ... with a straight sets win so I can get to bed at a decent hour. A girl doesn't demand much. ;D Chin and shoulders up during sit downs ... positive thought throughout the match (BY) ... cleanly hit groundstrokes (no overhitting - keep the ball in play) ... move through your shots and don't get caught on the back foot ... get the first serve in ... get some net play in early (move in for the volley - don't wait for the ball to come to you - and you'll get the angles - and keep moving) ... and above all, don't do anything daft. Keep the heid. My usual demands. Cybercoach PS The kiwi outfit will clash with the surface Frensje! PPS And if you get Maestro in the first round, remember - you've beaten him before and you're still capable of beating him again. Keep the heid.

Mario can't catch a break it seems like Ancic in doubt for Australian Open because of illness 1/7/2008 6:56:00 PM AUCKLAND, New Zealand (AP) -Mario Ancic could miss next week's Australian Open because of a stomach illness that forced him to withdraw Tuesday from his first-round match at the Heineken Open. The Croatian, who also withdrew from last week's Adelaide International because of illness, did not play his scheduled match with Spain's Juan Carlos Ferrero. ``Australian Open is Monday next week, so I have some time,'' the 23-year-old Ancic said. ``But I also have to be ready to play five sets by then.'' The former top-10 player underwent tests at an Auckland hospital Monday to determine the cause and nature of the illness, which has led to tiredness, vomiting and considerable weight loss. ``If it wasn't the Australian Open, I would straight away tell you 'No.' But it's a Grand Slam. I'll prolong the decision but it's a very small chance,'' Ancic said. ``It's not looking good.''

Well, it's not a good draw, but it could be worst! And when we're talking about Marat Safin a bad draw doesn't exist! (Well, I hope so!)

some intriguing match-ups to start ... has the potential to be pretty interesting Clement/Scheuttler, Moya/Koubek, Wawrinka/Benneteau, Tsonga/Murray, Santoro/Isner, Djokovic/Becker, Querrey/Rochus, Malisse/Tursunov, Pavel/Andreev, Ferrero/Kiefer, Stepanek/Spadea, and of course, Marat/Gulbis .... let the sleepless nights begin! ;D
