ok people, I am off to Hamburg on Friday ;D to join davis, frensje, Alya10, Annabel and lena and some other ladies in enjoying some tennis and girl fun ;D Please keep the forum tidy and behave ;D I might check up on you every once in a while lol  Ily, you're the boss while I'm gone LOL  |

Have a wonderful time in Hamburg Girls!! I am sure Marat appreciate the moral support!!!
Make sure to pass on ALL our SUPPORT Marat if you see him (Of course you will see him, thats the purpose of the trip right?) We will try to behave but as they say, when the CAT is away the mouse will PLAY! :-)

Okay ... the countdown is on ... next Thursday I'm in Liverpool until Monday. The Big Yin ain't there I know, but Pernfors and Nastase are! Suits me. ;D I can bore you with pics and video! And I'll be going to the Klimt exhibition on Monday morning at the Tate Liverpool before I leave ... yippee! Then ... it's Wimbly time right after it! ;D ;D ;D Get to London early Saturday 21 and leave Monday 30, so I get my usual round of sitting in the rain freezing my butt off for the first week. Will be fitting in some art exhibitions and museum visits as well. Bliss. Just for once, I hope the weather keeps up for both trips. my joints are caving in with the damp. |

anyways, was calling player services to check out whether Marat signed up practice session or not and they said no, he's not checked in yet......I kinda felt Marat must have arrived or would arrive soon..... later was having dinner with cousin's family, then my two nieces screamed Safin over TV screen)))))) he was at the draw party to sign for fans......*******sigh******by the time I turned my myself to TV, the news was over...***another sigh*****asked the player services again, they answered yes he has checked in, but the Marat signing thing on TV should be in "Montreal" (ya, right....) Ok, so I went to check out Nikon P80 at Circuit City and we spotted a big offical rental SUV (Mercedes). My two nieces got excited "Antie, Safin might be in there". I was like rushing in, there was F-Lo right in front of me buying prepaid cell phone.....***sigh*** and why F-Lo can have a good car like Mercedes and Marat drove a small Chevelot (let alone in 06, he got hit and the car was totally demolished). well, I just have to know he has a nice and safer car this year. It's so funny that my little niece asked me at Circuit City "Would he know that I b** him when he was playing Safin. I am scared." then hid behind me all the time. LMAO ;D On the way home passing by the hotel, saw Gulbis coming out of the door and 4 other players just about to squeeze in a car heading somewhere. Looking forward to tomorrow's practice. The weather is fine. Hope I can get as many good piccies to share with you guys. And hope Marat won't play until Tuesday. So I get to see him more. BTW, anyone is going? PM me! |

RE: US Open and Washington  Hey people!!! I thought id ask for some advice. Me and my two loony mates are hoping...rephrase DETERMINED to get to the states to watch Marat play and practice, after seeing the wonderful work that JustSafin did, with them oics, im still recovering and mopping up the drool as i type lol. I am messaging to see if anyone, has been to either/and the Legg Mason, or US Open, and how close can to you get to the players, and how good are the deals on tickets to watch the match. Im leaning more towards the Legg Mason, as it is a more intimate tourny, but any tips you guys could give would be very appreciated, and who knows next year i might have a report as good as JustSafins!!!! Peace you guys xxxx and Davai Marat for LA!!!!
