Let the planning for next year begin ;D ;D ;D ;D ATP Finalizes 2008 CalendarThe calendar for the 2008 ATP season has been finalized with a number of tournaments moving to different weeks, as Beijing hosts the Games of the XXIX Olympiad from August 8-24. www.atptennis.com/en/tournaments/fullcalendar/calendar2008.pdfVina del Mar will be the only ATP tournament on the calendar in the week of January 28, following the Australian Open in Melbourne. Two events, Delray Beach and Zagreb, which shared the same week in 2007, move to later dates in February. Tournaments in Estoril (April 14), Munich (April 28) and Casablanca (May 19) all take new slots during the traditional European clay-court swing. While the Sopot event will take place on June 9. There will also be two weeks that feature four ATP tournaments, during the weeks of July 7 and July 14. The tennis competition at the Olympic Games in Beijing takes place from August 10-17, in the same week as Washington. Singles tournament weeks include Bucharest (September 8) and Mumbai (September 15) immediately following the US Open. The city of Shanghai will host the Tennis Masters Cup for the final time, from November 3, 2008. In 2009 the circuit-ending finale moves to London and will be renamed as the ATP World Tour Finals.

Thanks for the news Annette!! Well, that means Estoril returns to it's old slot, early April before Monte Carlo. Considering the new venue hasn't been announced yet, I suppose it being in the schedule means ATP counts on it... at least I hope so

Does anyone already have plans to go to a tournament next year? Maybe it is too early to ask, but I am just curious. I really want to go to a tournament next year. I have been watching tennis now for several years. And I think it is now time for me to go to a tournament. I’m thinking about going to the Masters in Rome or Hamburg.

A whole bunch of TGFR-members will visit me in Hamburg for the Masters next year, including two ladies from Holland . If you want good weather, I would opt for Rome, though Hamburg tickets are in high demand and the official sale starts next week, so you are not too early with your question. Does anybody know about the tickets sales in Dubai? I have the flight, I have the hotel - how do I get the tickets? It seems they don't have an online sale?! Help is appreciated.

Hey Guys!
Haven't been on here in ages so not sure if anyone has asked any of these questions before. If so just point me in the right direction!! Me and some friends are planning to go to Roland Garros in May. It will be the first time that we go there, so I have a few queries about how to get tickets...I've been to Wimbledon before but I think the queuing system in England is pretty unique! Can you book tickets for the French Open in advance or is it another wake-up-extra-early-and-queue-for-ages system? Also, is it best to get ground tickets or is there a certain court that most people go for?
Any help would be much appreciated! x x x

Hello everyone Finally my dream for two years now (yes, I couldn't do it because my stupid job jaja) I am a confirmed attendant to Miami. I'll be there from March 26 to 30, since I have no more days off work. Please anyone that is going and would like to meet to "stalk" Mr. Safin let me know. Also I have the package with tickets for day and night sessions, and may be I can pass on some if you're interested since I plan to do some other sightseeing during my stay. Will share photos and a report in due time. Everyone have a great week!

Does anyone have plans to go to the Masters Series in Rome? I am going to this tournament from Monday until Wednesday. The rest of the week I will visit Rome. I’m really looking forward to it, because it is the first tennis tournament I will visit in my life. Hopefully there are some good matches and I’m trying to take many pictures.
