Hi everyone! I need your help. I’m gonna be in Barcelona from the 21 of April and I’d like to go to the Open Seat tournament. I tried to book tickets at the official site (www.servicaixa.com) but it’s in Spanish and I don't understand much. When I try to put my Visa credit card details it says that it's invalid, though I’m sure that my card is OK. Did anyone have this problem? Are there any other ways to buy the tickets? Thanks in advance for your help!

frensje Thanks for your reply! I called there as well. They don’t speak English:( I found out that there’s a problem with non-Spanish credit cards on their site. I wrote a letter to the site manager, so I hope to get a reply soon.

Marat to play at Kooyong Classic 2008 IEC serves AAMI Classic tennis
(2 June 2007 2:30 pm) MUMBAI: Sports marketing firm IEC has been appointed by Colin Stubs Enterprises to handle worldwide television distribution for the AAMI Classic for 2008 and 2009.
The tennis event is held each year the week before the Australian Open at the Kooyong Lawn Tennis Club in Melbourne. The 2008 tournament is taking place from 9-12 January. The AAMI Classic will be staging its 20th edition next year. The tournament has had the likes of Andre Agassi, Pete Sampras, Boris Becker and Goran Ivanisevic participate in the past.
In 2008, defending champion Andy Roddick of the USA is confirmed to return to defend his title against Swiss world number 1 Roger Federer. They will face other major stars including 2007 Australian Open Runner-Up Fernando Gonzalez of Chile, Ivan Ljubicic from Croatia, David Nalbandian of Argentina, Russian Marat Safin the 2004 Australian Open Champion, Andy Murray Great Britain, plus two other top ranked players. The tournament director Colin Stubs says, “In 2007 the tournament had its best ever distribution thanks to IEC in Sports with live coverage broadcast to a dozen networks across Asia, Europe and South America. We are pleased to continue working with IEC for a further two year period”.
EC in Sports CEO Jonas Persson says, "The AAMI Classic always features the top favorites for the first Grand Slam of the Year as it is the crown jewel event of The Road to Australian Open Series. The AAMI Classic is a very important property for our broadcast partners in the region due to the excellent live timings in Asia. Additionally due to the exceptional player field and its storied history, the event is also widely distributed in Europe and South America despite the big time differences to these regions, which is a great credit to the high quality of this tournament.”
IEC in Sports distributes over 30 men’s tennis events per year including several other tournaments in the Asia Pacific. They include the AIG Open in Tokyo, ATP China Open, ATP Thailand Open, ATP Heineken Open in Auckland and ATP Adelaide. Also additions to end of year schedule - 16-22 July Country Wide Classic Los Angeles 24-30 Sept Kingfisher Airlines Open Mumbai 08-14 Oct Kremlin Cup Moscow

Found an article on Zagreb Website!
ZAGREB, 17th December – The best Croatian tennis players will be playing at PBZ Zagreb Indoors 2008 as it was confirmed at today's press conference.
The tournament, which will take place from 23rd February till 2nd March, in Dom Sportova hall, will host best Croatian tennis players: Ivan Ljubièiæ, Mario Anèiæ, Ivo Karloviæ and Marin Èiliæ, while one of three wild cards will be saved for Roko Karanušiæ, in case his ATP ranking will not make him possible to enter directly.
A complete list of players playing at the third edition of PBZ Zagreb Indoors 2008 will be made and concluded six weeks before the tournament starts (it means in the middle of January) what is according to the ATP rules.
Among the players who might be playing at the forthcoming tournament are Novak Ðokoviæ, Richard Gasquet, Marcos Baghdatis or Marat Safin though their participation depends on their financial requests.
"What they asked for in the beginning is just too much, and our budget doesn't allow us that. Whoever wants to play at PBZ Zagreb Indoors 2008 is welcome, of course, but Croatian tennis players are the most important for us. Moreover, I hope that one of them will win the tournament eventually“– said Goran Ivaniševiæ, the President of the Organizing Committee.

Hard court schedule (from OS) after Bastad: 21-27 Jul Rogers Cup Masters Series Toronto 28 Jul-03 Aug Western & Southern Financial Group Masters Cincinnati 25 Aug-07 Sep US Open New York ========================= He will need to sqeeze in Top 50 to qualify for Rogers and Cincy, right? Hope he will be doing well at Queens, Wimby, and Bastad to collect enough points to get back to top.

Despite his loss to davydenko, I feel very positive for his upcoming tournaments. If he had maintained that mental aggressiveness and momentum from the first set, I'm sure he would have beaten him. (ljubic beat Davydenko. Ljubic is a very good player, but I'm sure Marat is a better player than Ivan ljubic). He's almost there, just needs to stay mentally steady, i'm sure he will be in the top 50 by rogers masters cup.
