hey guys i was going through your website today and the part where it says religion and you wrote doesnt practice... well yesterday he said that he listens the qoran everyday....and that he used to be about fast cars and beautiful women and now hes into his religion... and yeah he does have a girlfriend coz he said it himself... just thought i should tell ya coz at the end of last nights game he said thanks to his girlfriend..

Thanks for the news (and welcome to the board!) Where did you see/hear that?

It's interesting if Marat says he's getting into religion because he said about 2/3 years ago, 'I don't need religion, because I can take care of myself' [paraphrase]...obviously he needs a higher power now But it would certainly be great to see Marat's spiritual side coming through. And the no-alcohol thing is an added bonus for his fitness (I'm not sure what exactly gave him the idea to stop drinking) How long it lasts is another matter though

But i believ mentally anything is possible with Marat with Peter Lndgren by his side.
Possible the influence of his Mother may have taken its toll.
