I have a reply button on all threads except the RG threads.  Until it's fixed.....Marat was just awesome today. * Happy Dance *  same here Karen  I just logged in to catch up and post my congrats, and thank lau and andrara for the pics Its also on the back up thread Ruth created Thought there were a few posts not as many as expected and now I know why.......... Then I saw the backup thread ......... 2 pages already wow, but still no reply button or quote there either |

It's so weird, because it's just you guys that seem to be having the problem and I can't figure out why..... I have no problem at all with the thread *shrugs* Can still post, modify etc etc etc.... so it's not the board, or everyone would have the same problem. It's something on your computers that is blocking it. Have you downloaded any (ANY!) programs recently together? (smilies programs, java scripts/programs etc etc?) The only thing you have in common is you've been posting the most regularly.... unless you guys have all been in the TGFR chatroom as well?? If that's a common factor, then it could be you've had something download itself onto your computers which is conflicting with the thread?  I'm really at a loss to explain it, and therefore, I'm just clutching at solutions, but here are some things that might help: Solution one: 1) Go to 'tools' > 'internet options' on Internet Explorer 2) Select 'delete files' and choose 'offline content' 3) select 'delete cookies' Both of these can take a while to finish. When they do finish, close the window, then try again. You will need to log back in to the TGFR board. Solution two: 1) Logout. 2) Login with this account: login = viper password = viper 3) Attempt to post on the RG thread. If it works, logout out, and log back in with your normal account. 4) If you still have the same problem, then it is your account that has the problem. Solution Three: 1) Run a spyware/adware removal program. I would recommend downloading the trial of Giant or the free Lava Adware. Giant >> www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspxLavasoft Adware >> www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10045910.html2) Run at least one of these, and run a 'deep scan' or 'full scan' to totally cleanse your harddrive. 3) When it's finished, try to login to TGFR and try again. I'm not a computer expert, and to be honest, this is the last thing I want to spend my Sunday's doing - fixing other people's computers  (You guys aren't the only ones with problems at the moment.... seems to be a week of weird TGFR glitches and breakdowns... I need to hire a clone so there's enough Ruth to go around all 600 of you ;D) Solution Four: You can try looking for help on the support forums for proboards support.proboards.com/?board=support for known board glitches, conflicts and problems, and how to solve them. Apologies if I don't reply to PM's, although I read them all. I'm just a bit snowed under and want to make the most of the bank holiday weekend by seeing some daylight for a change  For now, I've re-opened the back-up RG thread (which I really didn't want to do as it's bad enough with 2 RG threads, let alone 3...but *ho hum* what else can we do? ) I really hope something listed here can help someone at least! |

Juli - follow the instructions for 'Solution Three' in my message above. The problem is definitely with your computer not TGFR board or your account. I'll send you extra instructions in an email. The one day of beautiful sunshine in the whole British calendar and I'm not going to see a single ray of it |

It`s the same as you did with your avatar The image icon (in "Add Tags") in on the left of the mail icon.... Press the image icon and paste the url as you did in your avatar.  In the new board you can`t post images that ends with .bmp or .pic, etc. The only valid image extensions you can have are .jpg, .gif, and .png I`m not sure if you`re asking about this..... |

I guess it is my turn to say that I agree with all of U, girls! I have to say that yesterday, when I saw the message Ruth posted, I felt like crying...I was extremely sad I read the message three times...I just couldn't believe it... But I have to say that I totally understand U, Ruth! I mean,i sometimes don't have time to post a message, a single message, so I am sure that the workload U successfully kept up with for 5 years was extremely demanding! Ruth, please let me say to U that I admire all the WONDERFUL work U put in TGFR and that I am proud of being a member on your site! For all these and much more,THANK U VERY,VERY MUCH RUTH!!!!!
