sorry Ruth, didn't want to bother you with a private msg so thought i'd start this thread so in future we can use it to report problems on the main page as well.
anyway, erm... don't know whether it's cos u haven't had time to get round to it, but some of the sub-pages on the main site haven't had their msgboard link updated, so it still redirects you to the aimoo url. the one i tried was the "centre court" link.

Well I've definitely uploaded all the main pages with the new link the day after I started this message board so your browser must be out of date ;D Just click 'ctrl' and 'F5' next time you visit. There will be some minor pages with the old link, I'm sure I've missed a few, but I'm not losing sleep over it  I'm sure you appreciate, tgfr.com is a big website and I have to change every individual link on every page - I've done all the main ones so I've got 90% of it covered. |

Quite understand that you would not have the time to constantly update the website with results, draws etc. Its a lot of work, and its amazing how much you do get to do and get done.
Its not a problem, no inconvenience, and tottally acceptable. As it is most of this stuff gets posted by other members on the MB anyway, or we know where to find it, so its really hard to expect you to do same over and over.
The new trial layout is fine with me.....just great and thanks again for a well done job always. Thanks to you we have a great Marat website.

Hey guys, cancel the funeral! Rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated  I'm not going anywhere and I'll still be around as much as possible, nor am I abandoning TGFR! I just found myself really tied to updating daily because I had those results/draws/interviews etc to do. Also, you guys were much quicker than me, so it became a bit redundant repeating it all later on the homepage. By removing them, I don't have to 'patrol' the homepage so much. I'll be updating other stuff as regularly as usual (which is about 1 or 2 times a week) and I'll be knocking around the message board only slightly less ;D I'll still keep you up-to-date with little bits of official info etc as normal and adding stuff that fellow fans find |

Don't worry, if I ever have cause to leave TGFR (IF!), I won't secretly abandon it or anything. I'd prefer to hand it over to other Marat fans who would continue to run TGFR in the same spirit But that's not something we need to worry about just yet ;D |

ooww.. owkay.. so the homepage is changed  I didnt even notice.. cuz I always come to the message board rightaway there's so much to find here.. and always someone around! So for me it's no problem!! But I can imagine that not-regular-visitors dont come to the message board that easilly and that often.. so for them it's maybe a lil inconvenient.. but I'm sure they'll find their ways too.. So it's alright Ruth! Keep up the good work! You're doing great!! |
