Patiently waiting for December 10: Chelsea-Arsenal at Stamford Bridge. Damn, I wish I could go see that live You'd be better off not going to that match. The ticket prices at Chelsea are enough to send even a wealthy person on the highway to bankruptcy. I remember going to Chelsea - Newcastle last year and the whole package cost me nearly £200! Anyway, the Premiership looks like being a two horse race this year (hope Chelsea win it). Chelsea were ordinary last night, but at least Sheva showed glimpses of his true self.

Jewells my thoughts exactly re:Sheva... there were a couple of moments which made me very nostalgic He'll be back...I know it... he needs time, like all of them did. I mean rememvber when Henry first moved to London? Or even Drogba...everyone was a mess at first I have been by Sheva's side for 13 years now, I know better than to give up on him...that will NEVER happen ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'm not so sure about Sheva going back to Milan. I heard that Gattuso e Maldini said that they don't want Sheva back. Apparently, they didn't like the way he traded Milan for Chelsea.
It's funny you say that Sheva's wife wants to leave, Iman. From what I heard, Sheva went to Chelsea also because she wanted to speak english instead of italian...and now she wants to speak italian again?! weird!
Another information: Real Madrid wants Kaká. Real Madrid president, Ramón Calderon said that on his tombstone will be written: "Here's the president that took Kaká to Real Madrid". But Milan director, Adriano Galliani said that on his tombstone will be written: "Here's the man that kept Kaká in Milan". All we have to do is wait to see what's gonna happen.

I heard about Gattuso and Paolo being mad at him and noone can really blame them, can they? I mean these guys dedicated their lives to one club and this is kinda hard for them to understand I guess. Re: Kristen being unhappy in London...she better be happy there because this is why they are there in the first bloody place!!!!!!! Anyway, I just hope Andrey finds himself again and shows some serious butt-kicking footie soon ;D ;D ;D As for Kaka and Real, we have discussed this before. Shevchenko clinches top spot for Chelsea by Steve Griffiths December 5, 2006
LONDON (AFP) - Andriy Shevchenko ensured Chelsea finished top of Champions League Group A as his clinical strike set up a 2-0 win against Levski Sofia.
Shevchenko has endured a miserable time since his club record 30 million pounds move from AC Milan in pre-season, but he was back to something approaching his best against the Bulgarians at Stamford Bridge.
The Ukrainian forward opened the scoring in the first half before Shaun Wright-Phillips came off the bench to notch his first competitive goal for the Blues in the closing stages.
ADVERTISEMENT Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho had been taken to hospital on Sunday after suffering from nausea and dizziness, but he was on the bench at Stamford Bridge and, if he was feeling any after-effects of his illness, his side's dominant display would have been the perfect tonic.
The London team's victory means they end their qualifying group ahead of Barcelona, Werder Bremen and Levski and have a chance of a slightly easier draw in the second round.
Shevchenko must have sensed a chance to shine against modest opposition and his astute pass gave Arjen Robben a chance to burst into the penalty area and round Levski keeper Bozhidar Mitrev in the eighth minute.
Robben played an astute cut-back to Shevchenko, unmarked ten yards out, but he was denied as his shot was brilliantly pushed away by Mitrev.
Levski arrived in London already eliminated after losing all five of their group matches but Stanimir Stoilovs side threatened to take a shock lead in the 10th minute.
Ricardo Carvalho gave Daniel Borimirov a sight of goal as he backed off on the edge of the penalty area and the midfielder flashed his shot just over.
Mourinho's team could have been forgiven for taking it easy as they were already safely qualified for the second round.
But, with a win guaranteeing first place, the English champions were in businesslike mood and came close to taking the lead twice in quick succession.
Robben cut inside and forced a fine save from Mitrev with a long range effort, then Didier Drogba volleyed just wide from Shevchenkos cross.
Chelsea didn't have to wait long for the breakthrough as Shevchenko produced a superb strike in the 27th minute.
Dutch winger Robben started the move as he accelerated away from his marker and rolled a pass to Lampard.
The England midfielder picked out Shevchenkos clever run into space and the Ukrainian produced a lethal finish with the outside of his right foot to claim his first European goal for Chelsea.
Levski responded well to that setback and were unlucky not to equalise just moments later when Hristo Yovov whipped in a cross and Cedric Bardon volleyed narrowly over the bar.
Yovov tested Portuguese keeper Hilario, in for the injured Carlo Cudicini, with a fierce free-kick in the 38th minute as the Bulgarians tried to claw a way back into the match.
Levski keeper Mitrev almost presented Carvalho with a goal just before half-time when he made a hash of Lampards cross, but the Portuguese defenders shot was blocked on the line by Stanislav Angelov.
With Sundays crucial Premiership clash against Arsenal in mind and his side in total control, Mourinho took off Shevchenko and Robben midway through the second half.
Chelsea were unlucky not to get a penalty when Mitrev crashed into Drogba. But Wright-Phillips produced a fine low finish from the edge of the area in the 83rd minute as the visitors ran out of steam.

Kaka Stops Cold. "WIth Milan I have signed a contract until 2011 and I am happy here." The Brazilian player wants to nip the speculations about his future inthe bud. In the last few days Real Madrid and Milan have "fought" again on the field of Kaka's future. The player however has had enough of the rumours about him and has clarified his position." "I have signed a contract with Milan until 2011" he said. "I am good here and I'm happy to stay. More than that I don't know what to say, and still the rumours fly." A word, then, about his ex teammate Shevchenko, who at Chelsea is not going through happy times. "He's a friend and about him I can't say anything more than that he's a great champion" Kaka said "When we speak on the phone he says that he's not at 100 per cent yet but that he was to show, even at Chelsea, what he's worth." Sheva: Ready to return to Milan The Ukrainian striker told the Guardian: "If Mourinho is not satisified with how I am playing, I am ready to return to Italy to show just how good I can still be." England, 7 Decemeber 2006 - Andriy Shevchenko is ready to pack his bags to return to Milan. He said so himself in an interview reported to the Guardian and in the rest of the British press, that recorded the outburst of the 30 year old Ukrainian champion. Roman Abramovich paid 45 million euros to bring Shevchenko to Chelsea in the hopes of increasing the club's chances to win the Champions League for the first time. Sheva, who scored his first Champions League goal since last April on Tuesday night declared, "I feel at home at Chelsea and this is a team that I have felt mine for a long time, but unfortunately my style of play doesn't seem to be working for Mourinho. Everyone is writing that I could go back to Milan on loan. I haven't discussed anything yet with the directors and probably they haven't decided yet what they want to do. But if it does happen, I am ready to pack my suitcases." Goodbye London, then, after a really disappointing start to the season for the ex rossonero , who left his heart in Milan and was never able to find his rythm of the fields of the Premiership. Sheva continued: "I am very sure of myself. If that is a problem for some one, then I'll go back to Italy, no problem, where I can show how much I still have to give. I am absolutely not finished as a player and besides, I have nothing to prove. Everyone already knows what Andriy Shevchenko is capable of." (You tell him Andriy ;D ;D) And his relationship with the president? "Roman Abramovich is a friend, he's on my side. But the only thing he could do is insist on a loan as opposed to selling me." Sheva concluded with a parting shot to Abramovich. "I understand Mourinho, becasue I'm not scoring enough, so not even Abramovich would push too much even though he could, becasue the club is his." But since Abramovich seems to be abstaining from the debate, Sheva could be back in Milan already for Christmas. translated from www.gazzetta.it

the saga continues Mourinho: "Sheva is not untouchable." Chelsea's manager has taken another shot at the Ukrainian. "Here there are nine players that are untouchable and Andriy is not one of them. He's not happy with how things are going and that's as it should be. It would be a real problem is he was...": London, 8 Decemeber 2006 - A new episode in the soap opera starring Andriy Shevchenko and Jose Mourinho. After the outburst of the Ukrainian striker, who asked to go back to Milan, something which was immediately denied on Chelsea's website, it was the portuegese manager's turn. At a benefit event in London, he underlined again that he does not consider Sheva one of the untouchable players in his squad "Here the untouchables are nine: Makelele, Essien, Lampard, Ballack, Terry, Carvalho, Ashley Cole, Drogba and the injured Chec. Those are untouchable for how they play. Sheva still needs to adapt to the English game. He's not untouchable for how he's playing. We'll give him all the time he needs. Of course he's not happy with how it's going and it's just that it should be that way. It would be serious if he was happy with how it's going." Mourinho then spoke of his relationship with Roman Abramovich. "If he pressured me to play a particular player, I'd leave but he's smart enough to never do that. But if he doesn't trust the technical staff, he has enough money to pay me off and send me home and get another coach." Finally, the ex Porto manager spoke of his future. " At this moment I don't know where I could find more than what I have at Chelsea. But I always said that Seria A stimulated me. What stimulates me the most though, is to be in the best League in the world which at the moment is here." Can I just say?? JOSE YOU MAKE ME SICK * goes off to vomit*
