shocking, stupid, absurd....... MONEY TALKS !!!!let's face it, the guy's 31, he came to a dead end street in his life, he's gotta do what he has to do to keep it up, even if it envolves playing in the MLS... when i say "keep it up" i'm talking about the financial side of the deal, cuz i always felt that becks was more interested by money and fame than by football, except perhaps his years with MU (when i think back to these years, i wish he'd never left manchester... ) it's been a while that i was looking for him to move from madrid, to be frank, i never wanted him there ! but i was way not expecting him to go that far... but what shocked me the most about this whol thing, was when i saw his interview with US press... he's calling it "soccer" now !!!! OMG what's next? he's gonna lose his brit accent?!!!!!!!

As you say Samia, I think that once he left Man U, there was never anyway for him to go up was there. I mean Real is a club on par with Man U but I don't think it's necessairly a bigger club. There was only one way for him for him to go after leaving Old Trafford. Down. He's floated the last couple of years but the boat had to start sinking sooner or later and now it has. Of course Victoria is a major factor (dear god I can see the reality tv show now....Beckingham Palace on MTV..what a scary thought) but to be honest....I think Becks' has got the right to tell everyone to bugger off. Let the man go and have some kind of peace. It's just a sad ending for a player that was actually a lot better than most people give him credit for. I mean he was never in the Zidane -esque category but he was an above average player. The saddest thing? Everyone is talking about him as a player in past tense. That more than anything shows you what it's come down to. And I've just heard that Capello is refusing to play Becks again. Says he won't play for Real anymore. I have to say, with all the respect I have for Don Fabio, was this really necessary? I mean you could not play him without making it an affaire d'etat

Too bad he's gonna end his career on the bench.. Now is what Capello did politically correct? I guess, yeah... It's the only way for him to get the press out of his way, because he wanted to let becks on the side anyways, and here's his chance to do it once and for all.. Don Fabio always headed straight to the point, remember his years back at Juve, when he told his players to never stop playing when a player from the other team was down injured? Everybody back then thought it was rude and mean, but he didn't, for him it was a waste of time and of scoring opportunities... Anyway, i think he's doing the right thing by not letting him play, he just doesn't wanna put the team's chances at stake ( if there's any left ) ...

Instead of spreading rumours and contemplating whether or not he is a spy, it would be nice if anyone actually let him play some football and make him feel welcome. He never spoke anything but nice things about the team and his mates and it would be decent to pay him with the same. I am so tired of all of this. I don't know how Andrey takes it because I al on the verge of a nervous breakdown with all this Chelsea business.... poor soul, I just hope he knows his fans are still here for him

All I am going to say is.... Liverpool 2 - Chelsea 0 The only good thing about this match is that Cech is back ;D ;D ;D Welcome back Petr To continue the subject of recent accusations of Sheva spying for Roman.. Shevchenko denies special relationship with Abramovich LONDON, Jan 17 (Reuters) - Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko has denied accusations that he has a special relationship with billionaire Russian manager Roman Abramovich which is destabilising the English Premier League champions. "Those rumours are all lies," the Ukrainian told Thursday's edition of The Times. "A lot of things have been said which aren't true. "There are things which are written about my relationship with Roman Abramovich which have been over-exaggerated. My relationship with him is the same as every other player. "We might have a quick word with each other but that is natural as we both speak Russian. Maybe I shouldn't speak Russian." Shevchenko has scored only five goals this season and manager Jose Mourinho has made veiled references to a lack of effort. British newspapers have reported that Abramovich's backing for the out-of-form striker is one of several issues which have created a rift with Mourinho and might persuade the Portuguese to leave at the end of the season. Shevchenko said he had no intention of leaving the west London club. "I have been attacked from all sides but I intend to carry on," he said. "I will grit my teeth. I am not a quitter. I just want to be kept out of the politics." He also said he accepted Mourinho's decision to leave him on the substitutes' bench for recent matches. "He's the coach," Shevchenko said. "If he decides I am not capable I just have to work harder. It doesn't matter what I think."

GOD BLESS THE GUNNERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Arsenal 2 - Man United 1 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Yeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LMAO LMAO...As you can all imagine I am thrilled to bits with my boys. They showed great character to come back from a goal down, their passing was more than decent for most of the match. Man U had their chances but I have to say that if either side deserved to nick all three points, I think Arsenal just shaded it. And since Chelsea had the good grace to lose against Liverpool, it's as you were...6 points between the top two. The bad news is that Robin Van Persie picked up a injury. Broke his fifth metatarsal. Sound familar? Get better soon Rockin Robin Moving on to Italy....Milan...what am I going to do with you all?? 0-0 away to Lazio....*shakes head* Surely they could have done better than that? On the plus Dida is back, and he made one or two absolutely amazing saves. Ben tornato Nelson ;D And Mari...as for who Mourinho thinks he is...it's simple: God.
