 Here we go again...Eriksson has made a muck of his tactical system. The way England are playing now...if they qualify for the next round it will be a mini miracle and against Holland or Portugal...it could get very messy indeed.

Ecuador lost...I went to the Adiddas website and the soccer part is way much better than the tennis part. There is a section where u can see an interview with Becks like if he were in front of u...I would like to see them do that with the Tennis players they sponsor...

I agree Giselle...on both the fact that it's a tough break for Ecuador (as much as I respect Becks that free kick is about the only thing he did right today) and that the Adidas football website is way better than the tennis. The commercials on there are amazing...there is this one with Kaka vs Riquelme...where they are putting together teams for a street version of Brazil v Argentina...it's awesome....
onto Portugal v Holland...that should be a cracking game....

This Holland v Portugal is turning into a zoo..four red cards...14 yellows...and normally I like the Dutch just fine but I can't say that I've loved their attitude today. The ref has done what he could but things have gone out of his control. I have to say that all things considered I hope that Portugal win....
It's gonna be tough for them after though if they do go through cause they are gonna have a lot of players under the threat of suspensions and question marks over whether Ronaldo will recover from the injury that forced him out..

I hated that match!!!! I truly did...this is not fair play..this is bull.... that match was a disgrace for both teams... I never liked the Portuguese team to be honest and I started watching supporting Holland but by the end of the match I was too angry at both. I think it's also over for Portugal with the amount of players who are gonna miss the next match... Scolari should just.... ok I won't go there... France - Spain tomorrow  Should be great if France wakes up, but I will scream my lungs out for Spain ...I love those guys and not only because I can drool  but because they are playing really well.... Today - Ukraine - Switzerland... DAVAI ANDREI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (sorry Roger LMAO ;D ;D ;D) and before - Australia-Italy!!!!!  |

I hope we win ;D  lol....nahh you're right gonna be a really tough match for both teams Yeah, Holland is a great team and you have amazing players  The last time they play, Portugal won but it was a tough match too... Tonight I hope it will be a great show so good luck for both teams That win the best It wasn't the great show we hoped for, that's for sure I just think the one person who truly deserved a card, whether its yellow or red, is that referee!!  Well, I'm completely sad for our team but good luck to Portugal in the next match.....and that Ronaldo will be fine soon |

Well, although Australia played a good match, the fact is that they didn't not create that many clear goal scoring chances and the chances they did create they didn't take. At this level of football, that is unforgivable. Italy did not play that brilliantly either 1) becasue Lippi took a big risk starting with Del Piero and not Totti and 2) becasue they played down to 10 men for the entire second half.
If you look at the first half you'll see that Italy sat deep and let Australia have the ball so they counter attack and the result was 6 shots on target compared to Australia's 3.
At the end of it all though, the main fault of the result is for the referee. Now no offense to anyone Spanish here, but Spanish referees are the worst referees in the world. The straight red for Materazzi was way harsh. And as for the penalty....not in a million years. I mean I am an Italy fan and I'm thrilled to bits that italy are through, but no way was that a penalty.
The referees in general really need to get it together becasue after the Holland game yesterday and this one today
