Ah Great!!!!!that's a wonderful thread!Wanted to learn Russian but didn't find a teacher . ;D ;D But, I would like to have more info about Russia...cos here in France we have a bad image of the country.I mean the medias are very critic with your civilization. Think people are great....even nicer than the French... ;D... And as I would like to go there next year...I wondered if someone could give me some details about your life,society.....etc My questions look very stupid but I'm really confused. Did not find any good info on the internet .  |

Now something I noticed and wanted to correct
Molodets is only when you're talking about 1 person!!! If it's more than one, you say Molodtsi..

ok ok you had a whole weekend to revise LOL
some new words since Wimbledon is starting
scoreboard = tablO
match = igrA
a shot = udAr, nice shot! = horOshiy udAr!
grass = travA
umpire = soodyA
line = liniya (stress on the first i, it's very difficult with stresses on i because when I type i in capitals it looks like L ROTFL)
One phrase that usually comes in handy at tournaments is a saying we have in Russia
"SoodyOO na milo (stress on i)!!!!", which literally means send the umpire for soap!!!!!!!!! rotflmao obviously shouted out when the umpires are crap
