for me, i speak chinese as the mother tongue and i've learnt english at school for more than 6 years. since i will study english as my major in the university, i will still choose another language as an optional course and i really hope i can learn spanish coz it's definitely the most beautiful language i've ever heard! but if russia is also available in the list of optional courses (however, it's nearly impossible ), i guess i will have another choice instead of spanish i think russia is also very very beautiful. just think about those russian poets! now, everybody, what about you? i just want to know how many languages you can speak and which languages do you want to learn.

English is my native language and I did French and German at school. I'm (slowly) getting to grips with Russian now.... ;D
I know enough Welsh to read the road signs and navigate the small villages when I'm in Wales (I live righ on top of it). I also know some British Sign Language (one of my best friends is profoundly deaf) and erm..... Chaucerian English... although I don't think a visual language and a dead language really count in this topic *lol*

My native language is Chinese. I only speak Chinese with my parents and Chinese friends. I also speak Japanese since I lived there for four years. But when I came to the States when I was 11, English has become my most fluent language. I also speak a little French. I'm in my fourth year in French language studies and I'm supposed to be good by now, but my French really really suck.
