Nicki>> your Santa is lovely ;D to answer Magda's question, in France we have a big dinner on the 24th (at night) with the whole family: grandsparents, uncles and aunts, cousins...). The food varies from a region to another, and from a family to another so i won't get into details.. in South of France they do have the 12 different dishes traditions tho, but i have family and friends there and they don't follow this tradition... Usually children are allowed to open some presents at night (at midnight for instance). In my family, when i was a kid, we used to celebrate Christmas at my grandparents. My parents did bring presents for my cousins (but the ones for my bro and i were always left at home for the 25th), and all my uncles and taunts were doing the same for me and my bro and other kids. So at midnight we all had the permission to open prezzies from all the family. Then we went to home to sleep. And on the morning of the 25th, we could opened presents from my parents... i mean from Santa Basically we do do nothing on this day except enjoy our presents! ;D and rest because of the hangover...erm, that's for adults, not kids ;D

okeej....MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYBODY!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D
especially a big *doungle* to all ma turtles, penny the penguin, the giraffe and the rest of the msn crew ;D ;okay christmas christina stylee...well traditionally in england its celebrated on 25th and in my family we used to have friends & family round for a big dinner on christmas eve and then me n my bro would get packed off to bed and we would leave out sacks to be filled by santa ...not stockings because stockings were too small, my mum used to love buying us pressies ;D, and then in the morning i would wake up take my sack into my bro's room and open my presents in there, then in the morning we would go to church even though we're not religious, it was just nice..lots of singing etc, and then have a big meal about 3pm with all the...all the roast turkey and all the trimmings...c'est tres bon....and then for dessert christmas pudding mmmmmmmmm *licks lips* and then give out the rest of the presents from underneath the christmas tree...the celebrating then continues on all night and onto the next day which in england is called "boxing day" because the posh peeps used to give their servants boxes of food then!!! this is my first proper christmas in 4 years though because i've been enjoying italorussian christmasses in the middle east for a few years...but i won't go into that.....completely different tho...fun but not the same, so this year is extra special, and also i will go to the pub on christmas day for the first time as well ;D ;D and don't get me started on new year my town is one of the best places in the country to be for new year so i'm told, everyone dresses up in costumes and goes round all the pubs and its really cool, i've been going out in town since i was 4!!! ;D and once again...merry christmas everyone. ps....it might snow here for christmas JeeJ ;D ;D

Ok, I'm going to be all traditional and post my Christmas greeting on 24th - Christmas Eve *yay*!! (Yeah, this has absolutely nothing to do with me not being online for what feels like the past 12 years... tradition is my excuse and I'm sticking to it! ;D) So have a really wonderful, relaxed, snowy (if poss) argument-free, fire-crackling, stocking-bursting, fabulous lots-of-present-giving, genuinely smiley Christmas, and and even better New Year!! I hope everyone gets the chance to eat more than you should, unwrap what you really want and kiss someone you love Hope everyone managed to view my (late) e-card and a big thank you to everyone who sent me one!! [glow=green,2,300] A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE![/glow]
