my great uncle, never met the guy, he's a christian missionary in africa, bet on the england game that we would b winning at half time, drawn at full time and lose on penalties n won quite a bit of money, but i thought gambling would b against christianity rules or sumat...im a very non religious person so i really hav no idea
afta the holland game it was sooooo sweet wen van de saar had his lil son on the pitch! ;D

PS: your bet on Denmark was outrageus. i know it was outrageous. we weren't really hoping to win...but it was paying $13 so we just placed $5 on it just for the heck of it. minimum bid anywy. and oh...my mum was with me. hehe. the ridiculous things ppl do... oh yeah...and i don't usually bet. in fact, i never bet, but this was too absurd to resist... hahahaha.......

If I was betting i would have bet on Portugal. In Russia we have a saying that goes something like this: " At home even the walls are for you/ helping".

but wats happenin in the football at the mo, i havent been payin attention Nothing, they had some days off. The first semi final is for today, the second is tomorrow. The final is on sunday evening. Some of my friends love that saying too, and said Portugal will win, just like France in the world cup in 1998. But the saying isn't always true... so i'll continue to support the Czechs ;D

well, i gess the saying is MOSTLY true, but not always. look at MARAT! or HENMAN or...ahh i could go on. but anyway, i guess portugal has a better chance but i think the czechs might just manage to upstage them. we'll find out in a couple of days anyway.

i like that sayin, so true, i felt so sorry for arazi against henman on saturday the crowd werent against him, they just werent with him Christina>>>>true true, I really felt for Arazi, but somehow the crowd with the Henman Ancic match were not the same, maybe the match was to slow and they could not get Henman going, and I agree that's a great saying, and its true for Portugal
