Hm... this topic is popular. Well... if this Dasha/Freddie thing is true, at least we'll know that they'll be featured in tabloids often since Freddie is such a popular playboy.

The link to to the pics is very slow.
One of them is just an old pic of Dasha sitting in Marat's box with Walt and Peter.
Can't we move on from Dasha now!

Wow, I just went through about 20 pages of Marat/Dasha conspiracy theories. ;D
First, I'd have to put my opinion forward (because I'm a very opinionated person). If Marat was going with Dasha for looks, then he could have done a lot better. So, it'd had to be personality. But, to me, it seemed that Dasha kinda lacked personality. I dunno. I just never liked her all that much. And when I finally get used to her, they break up!
I think that when Marat does have another girlfriend, it should be someone who understands the game of tennis, and actually cares. Someone who can cheer Marat on during the tough points, and the great points. Someone who's there for every point in the game, and understands how much that win can mean to him. I think that's what Marat needs.
And, I do think that it's very likely that because of him and Dasha splitting, it caused him bad play. He's a very charismatic and passionate person. It'd be hard to imagine something that big not upsetting him.
And, I'm sorry if this insulting to anyone or rude, because I'm really not trying to be, but a lot of posts back, Ruth (or someone posting from the Girlfriends page) said that Marat and Dasha had split up, and there was a lot of posting after about that same topic. Maybe, just maybe, less repition?
Anyways, wish the best to Marat, and really hope that he can lean on his family and get over this hump in his career.

My Russian is pathetically basic, but I think the article says somehting about meeting Tarpischev at Sheremetevo -2 (Moscow Airport) So I assume it was them arriving back from Oz this year, and Marat supposedly 'snubbing' Tarpischev's welcome by not hanging around. Anybody else remember the Russian press jumping all over this? As if Marat was behaving like a 'Diva' instead of just a guy with jet lag...
