HAPPY 27TH ON THE 27TH Marat!!!!!!

Well one day left so i thought I'd open up this thread for us all to post our warmest birthday wishes for the dear guy whom we all support and who has an amazing ability to put so many people together from all over the world.

2006 was quite a controversial year for Marat. On the one hand it was a painful comeback from an injury with lots of lost matches and tough battles (mostly with himself) and dropping down to 106 in ranking. On the other hand it was a great second half with a few semifinals and a final in Moscow and a triumphant end of the season with a Davis Cup victory as well as climbing back to number 26 just in a matter of a couple of months

It so hapenns that my brightest events of 2006 were also Marat related. Getting to talk to him, giving him our message book, getting blogged and finally sharing the amazing DC victory with all of them - those are unforgettable experiences for every tennis fan and a Marat fan in particular.

And finally, in 2006 we continued to run this website together with all of you, we got to meet amazing people, make friends all over the world, some of them becoming parts of us and dear to our hearts...

Here is to Marat's 27th , to a successful year for him in all aspects of his busy life, to an injury-free smiles-filled season and may his life be as wonderful as he deserves ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
