If you had any idea what your fans go through watching you play, the moments of excrutiating agony and the moments of incredible triumph,

If you had any idea the depth of feeling, of passion, of anger, of sorrow, of happiness that you are capable of inspiring,

You would never suffer a moment of doubt about your ability or the path that your life has taken. Of course what do I know?

In any event, what I want to say to you is that, maybe without really knowing it, you have touched the lives of so many people.Becasue of you, I have met many intriguing people, some of whom have become very close friends.

So basically I want to say thank you. Thank you for the pleasure you give on the court, for all the things you say to make us laugh. Thanks for making us happy and sad, and all the things in between and reminding us in your own way of all the things that make life more interesting.

Decidí escribirte en Español por dos razones, 1) creo que necesitas practicar tu español y 2) yo se que yo necesito practicar mi español, jejejeje.

Pero Marat, quiero que sepas que aunque no me conozcas que te estoy apoyando en todo lo que haces. Especialmente durante esta tiempo tan difícil cuando estas atentando a subir la escalera del ATP tour.

Pero tengo fe en ti. Yo se que tu tienes la pasión, las ganas, y el talento para llegar otra vez arriba de los rankings del ATP tour.

No se si te acuerdas esto, yo se que no, pero yo si me acuerdo. Era el 2003 en Los Angeles y tu te retiraste contra Armitraj. Nunca se me olvida porque fue la primera vez que te vi jugar en persona. Y me acuerdo que te pregunte por un autógrafo, pero te tenias que ir porque te ibas a el doctor, y dijiste later. Lame I know, but still it's something I remember.
