It was a joke, again a joke, a bloody stupid unnecessary joke! And if, by accident, I have offended the Safinettes United, here I go again: I'M SORRY! And now I have officially stoped posting on the forum, cause I seem to unintentionally offend everybody! Next thing, probably, Safin will get an account of this forum just to say that I have offended him! Look, I just asked. I wasn't offended, I was amused. Let's not make drama If Safin was reading this forum he'd be amused too I guess.

Even if it was 'unintentional ...' I'm sure that the Big Yin has a good sense of humour and wouldn't be offended in the slightest by your posts, Masha. You've offered to do his laundry, have his babies, help with waxing (if required - still to be determined) ...what more could he ask for? LMAO. Maybe help gut any fish he catches ... Okay, let's be fair on the admins now ... move to Cincy thread and talk tennis ... ;D FG PS Please don't stop posting ... there's only 3 more weeks. ;D You've made my journey home at night a lot of fun!

The things are anyway rather complicated: I don't actually remember if they were intended as Tursunovian or Safinoids, but they will anyway never really know the truth (I'll take the secret to my grave) And by now I'm probably banned... ;D

Oh, yes, let's pretend this is a TENNIS forum. ;D I saw 5 of yesterday's 8 matches and indeed Verdasco-Roddick was the most entertaining one. The top 8 players made it to the Quarter finals, wow! [1] R Federer (SUI) d S Wawrinka (SUI) 63 76(5) [2] R Nadal (ESP) d P Petzschner (GER) 63 62 [3] A Murray (GBR) d [Q] J Ferrero (ESP) 61 63 [4] N Djokovic (SRB) d M Youzhny (RUS) 63 64 [5] A Roddick (USA) d [10] F Verdasco (ESP) 76(2) 46 76(5) [6] J Del Potro (ARG) d V Hanescu (ROU) 36 63 64 [7] J Tsonga (FRA) d [9] G Simon (FRA) 63 63 [8] N Davydenko (RUS) d [11] F Gonzalez (CHI) 76(2) 75 Which means tonight will feature some amazing clashes: Murray - Davydenko Federer - Tsonga Roddick - Djokovic Del Potro - Nadal It also means no sleep till Saturday Ah well, a bit of suffering doesn't hurt. EDIT: Massive women's match in Cincy tonight! Safina vs. Clijsters. I'll make sure I'll change genders for that one! Go Kimmie!!!!!

Watched Andy v JC when I eventually got home last night. JC didn't play badly at all - court coverage from both of them was great - but Andy was at another level. Ruthless display. So, does Rafa need to lose in next round and Andy win the title to become number two?
FG
PS You're not supporting the wean, Davis!?! Aww.

If Andy wins the tournament it doesn't matter how far Rafa advances - he'll be the new no. 2. Before that, there are lots of scenarios. I think Andy is the favorite for the tourney, he played the best tennis yesterday, so hois chances of overtaking Nadal are really good. Does he deserve it? That's another question...
As for Dinara - I just can't stand the woman, sorry. I don't care whose sister she is or isn't or what she has achieved or hasn't. My loyalty to Mr. Safin doesn't go so far to include the whole family, LOL

My loyalty to Mr. Safin doesn't go so far to include the whole family, LOL I think Andy does deserve it - he's sweated blood and tears to get this far. As a pasty-faced, unfit Scot myself, I know that what the boy has achieved goes against the Scottish psyche in every sense. LMAO. He's probably choking for a steak pie supper these days instead of 6kg of sushi! He can't be held responsible either if Rafa's knees are jiggered - that style of play is Rafa's choice. I'm really proud of what Andy's done so far - tennis is not a popular sport in Scotland, and he may generate more interest. As for the wean, I think she's a wee sweetie - so innocent. Irrespective of who Big Bruvv is, she gets my backing. She's a very refreshing change from Moaning Masha or Big Serena. Although I have to say, wish it wasn't Kim she was playing ... LMAO. FG

I love the guy (well, his tennis) and I agree that he has come a very long way. I just hope that if he becomes no. 2, he'll win the USOpen to show he's "worthy" - well, I want him to win that thing no matter what. ;D

Still reeling from last night's Maestro match! What the .... A 5-1 lead in the third? Don't think I have ever seen him do that. The backhand was all over the place. I could have hit a few of those shots. Jeez. Ah well, Andy's still there ... and the number two slot beckons. Loudly. ;D Finishing off a spot of digging and tidying in the garden ... and then at 8pm, I'm camped in front of SKY with a cheeky little red, shouting for the boy. And the wean won last night! Excellent. Tuning up for her first Slam ... ;D FG PS Ginepri for Cincy ...
