Rafa loses. To Soderling. *blank stare* There are no words. Soderling was absolutely fantastic today! He looked as the man on a mission - excellent peerformance. Both defending champions are now out, as Ana also lost today to Azarenka.

Rafa loses. To Soderling. *blank stare* There are no words. *blank stare* *blank stare**blank stare* Rafa lost? Jeez. I was in the garden for 9 hours, attempting to surpass my third-degree burns from Wimbles last year ... didn't see any tennis today at all. Rafa lost? *blank stare* Go for it Maestro ... this is the biggest chance you will get.

Andy, Andy, Andy!?! ... I got home just in time to see the final set. He was certainly blasted off court. Gonzo was on fine form. The best man won. What possessed him to play a drop shot at 4-5 0-30 though? What a muppet. Ok Maestro, you're my last boy in the draw. This IS the big one. Earplugs at the ready for the Parisian crowd ... FG

C'mon Maestro ... go for it. With DP waiting in the wings for the semis, there's no room for the unforced errors ... and you know it. Didn't see any of the match, but was greeted with the news by colleagues when I came out of a meeting. Well done. Two more, that's all that's needed ... (Wimbles is Marat's though ...)

Women's Final: Kuznetsova v Safina
Men's Final: Soderling v Federer
Soderling backs up the Rafa-slaying nicely, who would have thought? ... Fed better win Sunday though.

My poor wean - she looked SO nervous before stepping out on court. Big Yin, next year you are at the final of the FO if she gets there again (very likely). I'm sure she'd play her wee heart out and forget her nerves if you were watching. Wasn't to be - Sveta was the better player on the day, and held her nerve. Congrats. ;D Happy to see her win ... if it had been Big Serena ... Hey, maybe we'll get a Safin double at Wimbles. FG PS You may be playing mixed doubles at US? LMAO. Do it, and keep playing with the wean as much as you can now ...

When will people learn that it is beyond stupid to jump out on court? Security will get you. Took them a few seconds longer to get him then it should have, but the guy who got him gave a good tackle. But who thinks it's a good idea to run on court during the FINAL, and wave a flag in Federer's face, then try and PUT A BANDANA ON HIS HEAD ?! ?! Women's final yesterday was just depressing. Felt bad for Dinara. She wanted so badly to do well. And to DF on MP ...

Roger does it! Number 14, and now he's won all 4 Majors! Bravo! Andre Agassi presenting the trophy ... very cool. ... aw, Robin Soderling is growing on me ... nice speech. Sweet words to Roger. ... and a flawless bilingual speech by Roger. How about having an awards ceremony in the rain? ;D
