Hi, guys
Finally is able to get on TGFR. Quit my job the last day of 2008 and move to the States to start my new job right afterwards. Still haven't had internet and cable services at my condo (on a waiting list...gawd...I want to watch Marat play!!!!!)
Anyhow, so excited about the straight sets win and fingers crossed that he will do better on the 2nd round and hopefully kick Maetro's butt the 3rd round!
CONGRAGULATIONS, MARATIK!!
ps: jen, which channel has the AO coverage?

Welcome back Mrs Annie. Nice gifts. Any chance you can bring me a new SKY box? What is it with me, SKY and the Australian Open? It's happened again. It's busted ... during the first week of the AO! I'm going to cry ...

ps: jen, which channel has the AO coverage? ESPN2 & The Tennis Channel are sharing ... pretty much if it's not on one channel, it's on the other ;D ... TTC put up a handy-dandy schedule grid: www.tennischannel.com/schedule/aussie_schedule.pdf and, thanks for all piccies Annie (and welcome back!) -- definitely like this shade of yellow way more ;D

Another scorching day today and they couldn't handle the heat. It pays to play a few lead in tournaments before the AO . Hope Igor and Dmitry do better in the doubles

Oh great, my favourite slam is back. Good win Marat, don't let your Aussie crowd down tomorrow, they've always loved you. Caught a glimpse of the night session. Roger cut his hair in order to get a more aerodinamic silhouette in his run for the title

Likely they will opt to concentrate on Maestro's match. For £10, you can get a livestream on Bet365 for the tournament - covers all the courts that have a camera. You need to open an account - if you opt for £10 fee, they usually throw in a £10 bet. (I won £33 using mine - bet on Baltacha to win).Used this livestream on Monday when SKY chose to stick with a women's match on centre court. Why doesn't the AO offer you multi-screen options on SKY? That really narks me. Dendy mentioned another livestream SKY option to me - think that was cheaper, but I couldn't register with them ... Even though I have a SKY ± account ... and a dodgy SKY box. So glad I finally got round to broadband!
Big Yin, you'll get your FG coaching tips in a couple of hours. I'm struggling through the snow to get home early to grab a minimal amount of sleep (eye bags all round girls ...) just to see your match live. Bear in mind the suffering that your FG and extended harem have to suffer when you start to have a moan about a bad bounce. LMAO. Don't forget your milk - it's gonna get really hot out there!

go to www.channelsurfing.net they cover almost all courts and a very good quality of streaming without any comments which is almost like u're on court watching!

Thanks for the tips... Will check that out. Fortunately the match will be at a decent hour for me. Coverage starts at 6:00 PM Memphis time.. The city is in a frenzy today because we got a tiny covering of snow this morning!

Option for those who can - go to www.eurosport.com and click on Eurosport Player. You can sign up for a month at a time - available to lot of different countries - and go through and enter your payment after you have registered and then log in to the player. Offer 5 courts - the 3 main ones plus Courts 2 and 3. Also have the matches re-live to watch afterwards. There is the option for full screen as well and I found it very good - that was how I watched Marat on Monday and will do the same in the early hours of Wednesday too. Hope that helps for others - it is like a livestream but not free but you just unsubscribe before the due date for the next month.

Take note girls, MY fairy godmother has dispensed good advice for tonight. In my haste, I spent £10 on the Bet365 site - and I don't even get that 'relive the moment' ... think I'm spending another £4 tonight. Follow Dendy's advice on the SKY player if you don't have access to any livestreams ... Ok Big Yin, time for our coaching drill. I've been scouting again. Garcia-Lopez is known for his mental fragility ( ). You being the more experienced, focused - and talented - player on the court, will expose his fragility to your advantage. If he blows a gasket, you turn away and let him get on with it. Don't join in - and no punches, please. Your Rocky days are finished after one bout. He may hope to entice you into losing the plot. Don't, or I will send a fairy skelp to your backside for any Russki meltdown. He apparently has reasonably good court coverage - but still, make him run. Employ the same tactics as round one, take him wide and dictate the rallies from the outset and make him run to play one more shot. On the volley front, no cockiness from you. Just keep it within the lines, not too close to them - we lost a few point on that in the first round. We want all those volleys you are mastering to pay off. ;D Bless, I've turned you into a net player ... LMAO. Play your game, solid and focused. MIx up the slice and some topspin for good measure - keep him guessing. Good luck my Big Pixie, and please, make it straight sets. My swollen eyes are starting to look like yours did last week - without the additional shades of green, black and blue ... FG PS Drink your milk!
