why does it have to be so difficult?!? so (too) many bp opps (*cough24cough*) up in smoke that would have made the process more speedy .... a long, painful struggle, late into the night, but .......... Marat prevails!!!!!!!!!!! *phew* 75 67 75 --- thank gawd! oh what tomorrow will bring ... another interesting day: vs Monfils ............

yes he won!!!!
i couldn´t see the match so i follow it in livescore the third set was hard but the most important is that he won! i wish he could win his matches in 2 sets but he makes us suffer!!! because we know he could beat anyone! when does he play again and with who?

Well Marat you make it painful but it doesn't matter since you win! Monfils a few challenge take revenge from last years lost at the cursed Cincy!

I'm so happy that he won... let me scream AaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaAAAaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!! I was a bit scared, he has never played him before, and you know Marat... Again he had to lose this one set... But ok, at the end he won, he's happy like we are... Looking forward next match, hope he'll give us reason to celebrate... Again and again... hugs

Fingers and toes crossed for the Big Yin. Eurosport are only showing semis and final - so get on with it! I want a laugh at the Big Bird outfit. Don't take the foot off the pedal after you win the first set ...

Well, even if Marat would lose, he wouldn't be today's biggest goofball - Tommy Haas just got defeated by the World No. 419 in three tight sets 46 76 67!!!!!!!! Only two break points (and 1 conversion) in the whole match! Congratulations John Isner!

Gahhh he lost 3-6 5-7 to Monfils!! I think he is going to be really disapointed with this result , he will lose 40 ranking points
