Thanks for all the lovely pictures and reports! What a big shame that doubles matches aren't broadcast on TV - the entertainment factor of the two crazy Russians must be skyrocketing ;D! Hopefully more pictures to come after tomorrow's match!

i'm not exactly sure where to post this q but as it comes from reading mitya's blog on this tournie i figure i can go for it...who is this katerina he keeps talking about? any ideas? much appreciated

I just checked the draw and the only Katerina in is Bohmova, a Czech... Don't know her !!
Just wanted to thank everybody here for everything you post: you're all great !
I agree on doubles... I'm sure they would get good TV ratings, but the only one we can see are during DC.
Strange something soooo important for DC is never broadcasted when is tourneys !

By the way, does anybody know why Marat and Dima withdrew from the doubles draw ? I see Friedl and Arnold got a walkover . Just hope it isn't the knee  |

Thanks for answering so quickly Happiness ;D !!! I'm beginning to think Marat is the unluckiest man in the world, with all his injuries  Please let it be not serious, Marat still needs to recover I know we souldn't expect too much from him but... I just can't help since he said "I will do something good on clay" (and well, I probably couldn't have helped anyway ^^). Maybe he's the most ambitious of us all. But right now I just hope he'll recover and be able to be fit again. I'll be waiting until that day ! Take Care too ! |

I just can't believe it... Such bad luck, that can't be possible... I really hope he'll be ok but it seems that he has often troubles with his ankles too so... Let's stay optimistic !
