Thursday would be a bit late for a first round no ? Anyway he doesn't get an easy draw... Fingers crossed ! I meant Tuesday!!! Sorry Well, as his manager is organizing the tourney i don't think he's going to put him to play monday already... It would be better tuesday if we want him to have a chance to have regenerate a little bit...

I don`t like the draw Chucho is not the greatest of hard court players so i'm fairly confident about his 1st round - Baghdatis has his ups and downs so who knows but i could see Blake or Mitya being his downfall I also think physically he is going to have to be tired - playing deep into 2 tournaments and playing for 4 weeks straight! Marat will play at the time most convenient for him since one of his managers run this event - so most likely late on Tuesday! UDACHI MARAT

Yep i would not be too surprised of an early exit at Madrid, unless Marat is in an amazing shape because he really must be starting to be awfully tired... Body needs rest sometimes ! But anyway after it's Lyon and Paris Bercy so i hope he'll be fit for those ones ! But if he can win Madrid i'm okay too

Ouch poor Mkhail... Seems to be a bit tough for him since the Davis Cup... Hope he's going to be well soon... Happy that Almagro is out...

Tough draw as usual. As Carole said, an early exit wouldn't be a surprise. But miracle happens these days! ;D ;D ;D

i really hope that he has found his competition form back and that he keeps playing well this week! i am so happy and proud of what he did last week! btw big thanks to emma u rock! acasuso is more than beatable on this surface, especially considering marats current form, well baghdatis sounds tough but he hasn t recovered yet from his shoulder injury and did not play well in vienna so i don t see why marat could not get past him! blake of course who won stockholm should be a lot harder in my opinion! but if he gets past him he could play nalbandian who played far from his best in vienna, so the draw is not the best but far from worst! he should again take it match by match like in moscow, it worked pretty well! i think the other guys know that marat is getting back, he played a final and maybe they gonna start to fear him more! anyway best of luck to him and really hope he is gonna do well, he has the models to motivate him after all ! i got tv coverage here in france so i hope they will broadcast his matches, i got used to watching him every day! safin is hopefully back so all of you who can watch him enjoy!

No Davydenko, Ljubicic or Blake. So the winners get an extra day off.
A night match for Safin? Why do I get that sinking feeling that he'll lose?

Why do I get that sinking feeling that he'll lose? ehm, at masters series they don't have enough time to give them an extra day off... and why should Marat play so early, read his blog ... he loves to sleep and don't like this morning matches.... ;D
