Safin: "It wasn't easy, Tipsarevic is a good player and is very fast on the court. I really had to go my limits to come through."
On his semifinal opponent: "It is great for the crowd because there will be a Russian in the final. I have known Kunitsyn since I was 10, he's a year younger than me and we played many times in the juniors."

Cool to see that Getty finally made it to Moscow ;D Believe me guys (and girls), the only reason Marat won is because Lena coached him during the match! We watched together and while I wasn't able to stand the tension and had to drink lots of wine to keep at least relatively calm, her optimism never waned. Lena, you're a true believer! Igor Kunitsyn is beatable! Come on Marat, you can make it to the finals!!!!! it was really hard to watch it but with you davis it was so great, we should do this again ;D and yes, I know what Marat need (mostly ;D)

Would anyone happen to know the tournament schedule? I didn't realize Marat was the last one up and he's getting in the way of my shopping plans. Should he make the final tomorrow, I have to re-adjust everything. From previous years, what time is the final usually played? I don't mean to sound presumptuous or overly optimistic; I just like to plan ahead.

The next match on Central Court is - N Davydenko v F Santoro. Marat is on after that, so it's gonna be late. At least Marat will be able to have a little bit more rest. ;D BTW... i love your avvy.... his eyes

BTW... i love your avvy.... his eyes Thanks; I love it, too. It's from Roland Garros a couple of years ago. I titled it "Mustachioed," because that's how this one article in Eurosport described him and the term stuck with me. Why did the women's matches have to go three sets...this next one better not do the same!

This'll be my first time watching Marat all week; yesterday doesn't count because I only saw the last game. I'm pretty excited. I wish more tournaments would provide livestream for their matches and not have to charge for it. It's difficult for fans to watch when they don't always have TV coverage from other countries.
