[glow=red,2,300]Tursunov seals Russian victory [/glow] ;D Russia is through to the Davis Cup by BNP Paribas semifinals, thanks to Dmitry Tursunov's 61 36 67(4) 63 75 victory over Richard Gasquet in Pau. Heartbreakingly for the hosts, it was the Frenchman's second five-set loss of the tie following his defeat by Marat Safin on Friday. France had pulled back to 2-1 in this quarterfinal tie by winning the doubles on Saturday, and Gasquet had taken a 2-1 lead in the first reverse singles, but Tursunov refused to give up. Russia will be hoping that USA, 2-1 overnight against Chile, go on to victory later today so that they can host the Americans. If Chile were to win, Russia would travel to Chile for the semifinals.
