I was talking to the lady in charge of setting up the Masters Cup tour packages and we discussed who would be the last players in. Her opinion was since Gaudio did not play this TMS-Madrid he is going to be out, didn't make sense to me, but okay. And it's her opinion the final spots will be taken by Safin and Agassi. Hope she knows what she's talking about. Did that make sense to anyone about Gaudio? She seemed pretty sure he's going to be out of it. Go Marat, you're getting closer to the Cup.

And sorry, the quality of the videos is not the best of course..... Oh, and you're good kiddies in general, aren't you! You deserve some video show. Added the Horna match video: mms://video.rfn.ru/rtr-sport/6962.asf

Thanks Vlad, for the stat. It's worse than I thought it is. I though about how he didn't need to play full strenght and I think it's not right anyway. Play not in full strenth but don't have so many unforced errors! Plus, the top ten players still try to eraze their opponnent every single time. But Marat gave Koubek 3 returning games for free. That's not a proffesional game. Jiat did Koubek have about the same number of pure winners? If so, it's unacceptable. A top ten player, even if he's not playing full strenght, saving energy still runs down all shots and plays a limited defensive game, which still doesn't allow the opponent to do anything. Otherwise, if the opponent suddenly reduces his unforced errors (turning them into winners < Koubek went dtl a lot> ) he will run away with the match before Marat can step up his game. This already happened before, I think. sorry vass. can't remember. i pasted it on the chat somewhere. if u've still got the chat log.

YES; YES; YES!!! He ABSOLUTELY won!!! Oh, my, he was sooo good!! I love it when he gets mad, and he did several times!! And how could Grillotti say "Sorry, I wasn't looking" What the h*** is that?!?!? Nevermind, he's in semis, so I'm HAPPY!!! And though I have to go to work, now I'll be with a stupid smile all night!! I hope now Vass stops criticizing him (just for a bit, pleeeease...) Let's trust in him and hope he can win tomorrow!!

Marijana WELCOME
Karen> I hope that lady is correct, but I though that as long as u won a grand slam you auto went to the year end, but then maybe he will go as the reserve? is that not what Thomas Johanson went as the year he beat Marat in AO? I dont know really, but hope she is right and sooooo hope that Marat makes it.
