ok, the serious stuff....he played really well on serve most of the time, didnt give nalbandian too many chances, he won 6/13 brk points on dave's serve, which to be honest was pathetic (dave's serve not marat ;D), marat looked self assured and confident pretty much all of the way thru, where as nalbandian looked really nervous and tight....marat played sum good points, the BH DTL was key, had sum great shots with it, a few amusing points as well etc
ceremony...all in spanish, espn did their best 2 translate as he went but hardly got any of it, thanked numerous peeps, the dudes - pete & walt, his "amigo" hu i think was called danny or sumat (thats wat it sounded like anywho) erm, the publico ;D, all the officials & ballkids, the bimbos (great work this week ladies), sum ppl from russia got thanked and a HUGE grin, sed sumat 2 dave (maybe it wasnt ur day - evry1 laughed) blathered on for a bit....me thinks that the bulk of it...sorry, dont understand spanish at all ;D

MARAT WOONNNN!!! it was an interesting experience hanging out with the nalby fans during the match on msn. the poor gals were just begging for nalby to retire the match cos he wasn't moving too good cos of the busted toe.
awww... but hey! other sources say marat totally outplayed nalby!!! YEEEHAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
