Some more fun stories about RG ;D ;D Steph (Damita ) put this on MTF  there's a daily show here on tv called 'one day in Roland', where 2 guys are in a little room under the central court or court suzanne lenglen i don't remember, all they have is washing machine, and so they pretend they take care of the players' clothes... so everyday you see reports from all the matches, with some scenes of those 2 guys in their laundry with players coming in
And today, at the end they said they needed a song for the ending credits, and Lleyton comes in with a mic and starts singing on the 'Eye of the tiger" playback and he seems to really enjoy it, all smiling... with the 2 guys behind him moving and pretending they're singing too... this is the best thing i've seen today (ok not the best... #2 after Dinara's unbelievable comeback)And here is a video of Hewitt singing (thanks to Nicki ) www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNHjAUEbaYAThe other day they were "hey, i want a coffee, do you want a coffee?" so they grabbed the tube behind them (they use it to communicate with ppl in the building ) and ordered 2 coffees, then Maria Sharapova entered with 2 coffees. They were drooling and asked her 'what is your name?' 'Maria'... and later in the show one of them said: "let's call Maria again!" "yeah! *grabs the tube* 2 coffees please"...
... and Gael Monfils enters, taller, stronger than them. Gives them their coffees and gives them the killer look. So they are: "erm no Maria? " and Gael "I don't think so. Enough now" ;D ;D ;D ;D Hilarious stuff!!!!!!!!! |

ROFL ! These pictures are too funny ;D ;D I'm not surprised that Marat signed there ;D Okay, small report now. I was really excited to go to RG for the second time yesterday. I love the atmosphere in the tournaments, tough it was not the same, now that Marat was gone. First I went to the practice courts, to check if Dinara was here. But as we(I went there with friends) arrived a bit late (10.30), it was quite normal we didn't see her. But we saw Olivier Rochus practising with Llodra (I forgot to take a photo  ), and we saw Misha (I didn't forget with him ;D !! I'll put the photos in his thread). Then we decided to go on the court because we wanted to see every second of the matches !!! It was the first time I was on the Philippe Chatrier, but it is a huge court. We were on the right of the court (if you watch on TV), and a bit far away from the court, but we could see it really well. And we were near the French TV terrace (the place where Annie's siggy picture was taken, if I remember well), so we saw Cedric Pioline all the day (he's a commentator) and PHM who went there at the end of the day. Now the matches ! First was Robredo against Ancic. I cheered for Ancic, as did my friends. It was a really good match. Both of them hit the ball really well and it was a close match. Once, after a really long point, Mario was so tired/ill that he vomitted on the court !!! And he kept playing as if nothing had happened !!!! He didn't even call the doctor or anyone  !!! During the breaks, the scores of the other matches were displayed on the giant screen, so I was informed about Dina's match. My friends kept teasing me 'cause Dinara was losing each time we got to see the score. But she won !!! And I was soooooooooooo happy for her !!! I think it's the first time she gets to the quarterfinals of a Grand Slam, and she really deserves it, since she plays awesome right now. MOLODETS DINA ;D !!! Then Ancic won at the end of the fifth set, and he looked so happy !!! Nearly everybody in the public had been cheering for him and we all stood up to applause loudly. And it was the Roger against Berdych match. I had already seen them both, but still, I was impressed. I kept taking photos (but most of them are shitty ). I thought Roger would have more trouble to win, but he was too strong. Berdych wasn't playing bad, but I don't think he played at his full level either. Well, just before the end of the match, I shouted "DAVAI MARAT" (but I don't think it was loud enough to hear it on TV ;D) to let Roger know that his challenger would be back sooner or later (And well, we all hope that it will be sooner  ). We also were really near of the Court n°1 where there was the match of Monfils against Blake. I wanted James to win, but sadly he lost. We could hear the noise of the court and the atmosphere seemed to be really boiling. And we got the same atmosphere as Amelie came on court to play against Vaidisova. I thought she would win, because she did it easily at the AO, but I knew it would be tougher. And I was soooo right  . Nicole really played great, and Amelie did not play good enough. One of my friends doesn't like Amelie so she was happy she lost, but I was really sad. I think that I was one of the few in the stadium who had both seen her final at the Masters and her great AO, and the other people may think that she doesn't deserve her n°1 place (I heard them talk, made me really angry), but I know she does. And I hope she will prove it in her own country someday. After that I went to the shop to buy a cap and a T shirt. I also wanted to buy some places for Bercy but the counters were closed. I also saw that Kolya had won his match ;D !! I went back to the court, where Nastya had big problems... It was the end of the first set. I got my Russian flag out and cheered for her, but there were many belgians in the crowd so I don't know if she heard me. She was making too many UEs, and Justine played well, really well. I was happy she came back a little in the second, but I didn't really believe she would win the match... And once again I was right Even though James, Nastya, and Amelie lost, I really had a great day and I hope I will go back to RG next year. Annie I'm sorry I didn't read your post before going so I couldn't say hi to Roger from you, but I promise I'll do it next time I see him |

I missed "One day in Roland" yesterday because I WAS in Roland and you help me see it  Lleyton is so funny here, fighting with the guy ;D !! I also saw Dechy singing the song of a french sitcom called Plus Belle La Vie (I hate this sitcom, but it was all the more funny), Clement singing something I don't remember (shame on me  ), and the first day I watched, there was the laundry joke. We could see Roger, Amelie and Maria throwing their laundry at the head of the 2 guys, and then Lena arrived, giving her laundry kindly and explaining how to wash it. When she got out, the two guys said: "Oh, Elena is really the nicest... blablabla", and Lena came back , saying "Oh, I forgot this" and throwing clothes at their head. That's a stupid joke, but it's really too funny ;D |

Nicole played great yesterday !  At the end of the day, PHM went to the French TV terrace for an interview Strange to see him with normal clothes ;D  This was during Nastya's match. I found the sky was sooooo beautiful ! So I took a picture, put it's difficult to see that it's taken on the court  There's a big scoreboard on the Court n°1 where you can see all the results at the end of the day. On the center of it: DINARA ;D ;D !! |
