Ljubo leads Monaco 4-2 in final set - if they're playing that late they may as well have finished the match
Rafa pulled a fine performance to beat PHM, could Hewitt pull a shock as he looked mightly impressive against Dominik
The way Kolya played againt Moya, Gaudio should lose - close match but Kolya to win in 4 sets
Finally Dina vs Masha - we want a repeat of Moscow last year classic match with Dinara they winner.
As for my darling lena they way you have been playing this week, it was obvious you were going to struggle. As for my new darling who is catching up with Lena as my number 1 is Kirilenko - guess it was not meant to be, not a great performance
UDACHI ALL RUSSIANS TOMORROW!!!!!!!!

I'm going to Paris tomorrow And I will be on the Philippe Chatrier... So I won't see Dina or Blake But well I've got an impressive schedule on this court too !!!! ;D For the PHM vs Nadal match: WOW !!! I knew that Paulo was playing great but he almost did it !!!! He was only a few points behind and it was a really close, and really beautiful match !!!! Congrats to Rafa, though, and I hope that Paulo will keep on going like that for the next tournaments !! (he's a clay player, so it will be tougher on grass, but still...) Goodnight everyone ! I'll try to make a report, even with no Marat there I keep faith I'll see him someday...

I suppose I really should be posting this in Dinara's thread but I just wanted to say: WHAT AN AMAZING COMEBACK!! Congratulations to Dina for giving everything she had to snatch that win. I was very impressed and I have a good feeling about her in this tournament. If she keeps playing with that kind of determination and hunger than she could be going places...

Well said bia!! I am gutted that i didnt get to watch the match, but even i realise that Dina fought HARD!! and a well deserved win ;D ;D ;D I have to agree that i am also having a good feeling about Dina @ RG - i think this is a break thru year!! DAVAI DINA (u can beat sveta again!! ) edit: i guess Monfils REALLY likes playing 5 setters!! he beat Blake 6-2 6-7(2) 7-6(1) 5-7 6-4 and is gonna play Djokovic next!! and another shocker result!! Ancic beat Robredo in another 5 set match! 6-4 4-6 2-6 6-4 7-5. GO SUPER MARIO!! but will play federer next

La Monf as Gael is called is playing very well and he's such a showman, it's hysterical. I agree with you obviously about Dina @roland sabz...besides she's 20 so it's time for her to win a Slam...family tradition dontcha know...lol i'm only kidding...dina needs to keep doing things in her own way in her own time. As much as I love Marat I am getting tired of hearing Dina defined as Marat's little sister...she's her own person and her own player and that needs to be respected...
as for Mr. Ancic...I have to say I'm not overly surprised...he's been playing really well lately. Nearly beat Robredo in Hamburg as it was so...and I have a good feeling...I mean wouldn't it be the ultimate irony if Fed lost to a player whose style is basically similar to his own...and if i'm not mistaken didn't Ancic beat him at Wimby some time? I'd wouldn't bet against Ancic...

"He sent me a text and said: 'great fight, good comeback'. That's nice." Dinara Safina is congratulated by big brother Marat Safin on her upset of Maria Sharapova.
"I used to be the little sister and he was the big brother, so I would like it to continue the way it is now." Safina on what it's like to be the family's best player

What a day at RG yesterday!!!!!!!!!! It was the first day of the tournament when I practically to some extent watched all singles matches!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D Dina!!!!!!!! Holy Moses!!!!!!!! What a fight!!!!!!! I take a bow girl ;D ;D ;D Too bad she has to play Kuzi now who had a really hard time against Schiavone yesterday but also found the strength to come back and win the match ;D ;D ;D Kolya my boy...you definitely follow Marat's pattern in tickling my nerves But good win ;D ;D ;D Amelie out, Robredo out (pukey Mario played quite a game) - that was a shock...and poor poor Nastya
