PLEASE PEOPLE, NOTE THAT:
This is the correct thread for live match scores & updates.
We are sorry, but all the score posts during Marat´s match made on this thread on Tuesday were deleted.
The TGFR Staff would really appreciate if this kind of posts (posts with live scores and updates during matches) are made in the correct thread in the future. It helps keeping the Message board in order.

Oh baby!!!!!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D That was awesome!!!!!! Simply awesome!!!!!!!!! 63% first serve, 9 UEs and 250 % of concentration!!!!!!!!!!!!!  That was by far the second best match he's played since he has been back, after the match with Gasquet during DC Great great play Marat!!!!!!!!!!! Udachi against Gonzo  Revenge time!!!!!!!!!!!!!  |

That was his best performance since OZ 2005. His ball-striking was phenomenol not many mis hits, had control of his racket and this is the best i have seen him return for ages and let's not forget who's serve he was returning- Rusedki rocket!. I would describe how Marat played in 3 words - Cool - Played with no pressure and not many times he got mad - Ruthless - his shots were hit hard and accurate and efficient - he done the job as good as he can and was playing within himself. Out of everybody i saw yesterday - Marat comes only behind Roger in as performance of the day. To Gonzo - i have been thinking about this alot and i am getting carried away after yesterday's performance but i think he will genuinly beat him and beat him well but i just pray he dont lose this confidence as he can easily make it to the 4th round - possibly against Hewitt . UDACHI MARAT!!!!!!!!!! Keep playing well!  |

I know I'm late but... HE WON !!!! And seeing the stats, he did it really well !!!! I'm downloading the match right now so I can see how he did it !!!
With a solid match like this, I think he can beat Gonzo. I'm pretty confident once again.
BTW, Jehaan, well done !!!! It's always great to see Marat fans in the public ;D ;D !!!!
Oh, and I love Marat's clothes !!! ;D For this I always love Wimby... All players in white, it's so nice !!!!
