Delayed response but.......YAY HE WON!!! ;D ;D ;D so happy!!! and wanted to say a quick thanx to bia and natalie for their cheering (i did hear it while i was asleep  ) Thanx for alllll the fotos - he looks great!!! Thanx to suds for the report - i am soooo jealous! and what and AWESOME interview!!! funny guy - the hair comment and the sweetheart! haha i was in stitches (i wish marat called me sweetheart ;D ok snap out of it!) anyway back to the point! wish him sooo much luck for the next round - he has done so well!!! better than last year might i add and udachi for the doubles match too (i just hope he doesnt get too tired - he was complaining about that in his interview!) THANX EVERYONE |

What a great interview [sorry a bit late, but I thought I better get some work done today as I haven't done too much the last couple of days, or will I do tomorrow ]. Anyway, he seems to be back to his best, some cheeky comments about the hair and girls and I thought this comment was interesting Q. Do you think looking ahead for your career that maybe the time off was good to rejuvenate you? MARAT SAFIN: Yeah, definitely. I solved a lot of problems that I had outside of tennis. I think it's much easier for me to play now and to focus on tennis. Actually, it was the right thing. It happened to me the right time. Anyway, best I get back to it, so I can devote my time tomorrow to the lovely and lushious Marat. Has anyone seen the order of play? It's going to be a great day, Igor v Andy, Roger v Richard, Tommy [yum yum] v James, Marcus v Tomas, David v Paradorn, Mario v Ivan, Dinara v Martina and of course our very own Marat v Jarko [like the way I am on first name basis with everyone ??/ ] |

I have planned to read through all my documents tomorrow, this way it won't look too obvious me staring at the computer all day tomorrow. Will send my positive thoughts Marat's way tonight [not that I think he needs them. |

Arwen! I love that pic! Is that Lars. I think there's a "thing" between Marat and Lars. Too bad there's no antics like last year with Lars. I think there was kissing. I found the Indian Wells tourny to be somewhat sedate. I'd love to sit in the stadium when he plays Davis Cup where it's more acceptable to SCREAM GO MARAT!!!
