Well, I know it's probably a bit early to start a thread for the Aussie Open 2005, but I just couldn't contain my excitement because...... I'M GOING!!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D Bought my tickets today, I'm soooo excited!! (Can you tell?) I always thought I'd only get to watch it on TV, but now that I live in Korea the trip became possible!  |

Wow all of you luck are lucky to be going to the AO.
i really wish i could go to another grand slam as i only go to wimbledon and for obvious reasons i will ony only see marat for a little time.

Hey Erica, I don't know that much about the AO tickets, but I think it really depends on when you want to go and what kind of matches you want to see. I booked tickets for three sessions at Rod Laver: day session on Monday Jan 24 (4th round), and night sessions on Tues Jan 25 and Wed Jan 26 (Quarters). At those times, the lower seats are all booked and only upper is available now. So, if you want to go to Rod Laver during the second week, you'd better book now. If you're getting ground passes, there's not such a rush; they're not even on sale until Wed Dec 1. You can just go to the AO website (www.australianopen.org) and go a couple of steps into the ticket buying process to see what's still available without actually buying tickets yet. |
