ITF Press Release
Semifinal venues and draw date announced
London, ENGLAND, 28 Jul 2005 - The ITF today announced the venues for the two Davis Cup by BNP Paribas World Group semifinals on 23-25 September 2005. Slovak Republic will take on Argentina at the Sibamac Arena National Tennis Centre in Bratislava, while Croatia will host Russia at the Dvorana SC Gripe in Split. The two venues are subject to an ITF site inspection.
Both these venues staged successful Davis Cup quarterfinal ties on 15-17 July, when Slovak Republic overcame Netherlands 4-1, and Croatia were 4-1 winners over Romania. The National Tennis Centre, which has been used for all three of Slovak Republic’s ties this year, has a 4,000 seating capacity, while the Split venue can accommodate 5,100 spectators. The court surface for both ties will be confirmed in due course.
The ITF also announced that the draw for the 2006 Davis Cup by BNP Paribas will be held at the offices of BNP Paribas in Paris on Thursday 29 September.

Well Ily I would be more assured if they said Karlovic had a hand injury LMAO (no no no I don't mean that seriously) because 35 aces a game is like...oh oh Mario Ancic hasn't been himself lately, not such a good form, in fact Ivan is playing much better now.... I am very nervous about this. I presume Kolya and Misha will be nos 1 and 2 respectively but Kolya is injured again and I hope he can pull off what he pulled off in July. Misha is in a good shape right now, the best he's ever been actually and I hope we can do this. Next two weekends will be hell for my nerves

By the way, if both Argie and Russia win, who'll get home advantage in the final?
I hope the Argies win.
