Roddick, Hewitt, Safin, Agassi Win in Delayed DayDefending champion Andy Roddick beat Nicolas Kiefer for the third week in a row, advancing to the third round with a 6-4 6-4 win. Roddick broke Kiefer in the seventh game of both sets. Roddick saved all five break points he faced in the match. Roddick advanced to play Paradorn Srichaphan, who fired 16 aces in a 6-3 6-4 win over Sjeng Schalken. Srichaphan saved six of seven break points in the match. In a battle of former No. 1 players in the world, Lleyton Hewitt defeated Gustavo Kuerten 6-3, 6-4 and now holds a 3-1 lead over the Brazilian. The 23-year-old Australian broke serve early in the set and kept the momentum throughout the entire match to claim the victory. Hewitt will play Tim Henman, who advanced with a 4-6, 6-3, 7-5 win over Hicham Arazi in a match that, while schedule for third on, did not wrap up until 1:01 a.m. Andre Agassi, a two-time winner in Cincinnati, advanced with a 6-1 3-6 6-1 win over Thomas Johansson. Agassi broke Johansson four times in seven attempts. He'll now face Juan Ignacio Chela, who advanced to the third round of an ATP Masters Series event for the second week in arrow with a 2-6 6-3 6-2 victory over Fernando Gonzalez. Tommy Haas continued his good performance in the summer hard courts by entering the round of 16 after claiming a convincing victory over Sargis Sargsian 6-3, 6-3. The 26-year-old Greman claimed his second title of the year three weeks ago in Los Angeles (d. Kiefer). Haas faces Robin Soderling, who beat Luis Horna 6-2 6-3 to make his deepest run to date in an ATP Masters Series event. No. 8 seed Marat Safin looked strong in his 6-4, 6-4 victory over wild card Jeff Morrison while Wayne Arthurs entered as a lucky loser and broke into the third round by hitting 15 aces in his win over Argentine Mariano Zabaleta 6-2, 7-6(6). Tommy Robredo battled to a 7-6(5) 4-6 6-4 win over Juan Carlos Ferrero in a match that lasted 2:48. Ferrero saved nine break points in the match, but a Robredo break in the ninth game of the third set decided the match.

Is it the same time difference again? They will show the olympics here, but I'm afraid it will only be swimming, athletics and stuff like that.

weeeeellllllll... i got this off andy's interview from this morning's match. it's pissing me off how andy's interview gets posted and andre's interview gets posted but the website chooses to ignore marat's existence. but anyway, i digress... here's a snippet from andy's interview... from the cincy website.
Q. Away from yourself, can I ask you a little bit about Marat Safin , who you've played some. He has such great talent but a lot of times he seems to squander it from up here.
ANDY RODDICK: I can't really speak on his behalf. I guess he's the only one who would know the answer to that.
Q. Does that surprise you, though, that he doesn't always, with his talent, come through?
ANDY RODDICK: I don't know if anything Marat does surprises us anymore ‑ or me anymore. But that's part of his intrigue, you know. That's part of what makes you want to watch him.
Q. Do you think the sport needs him as another sort of one for the cast of characters?
ANDY RODDICK: Yeah, I mean, he's a personality, that's for sure. And I think, you know, he expresses it a little bit more than some of the guys.
But, you know, I think we have a lot of personalties right now, you know. He's one of them.

Looking at the time difference thing, I don't think Dutch tv will show US Open. Maybe Eurosport or something will show the tennis at olympics... ?
